Weren’t we like 6-3 the last few years only to fade at the end?

I appreciate Pete for his contribution to the Hawks...But Mac is so real and I think we can agree that while PC was great, he is and was somewhat of a Bullshitter (but he was our bullshitter!).

I think it was realizing Pete isn't really an Xs and Os type of coach which I think he got figured out eventually and couldn't adapt. Every time I hear Pete's or Russell's press conference, I don't here anything football related. I mostly hear philosophical bs. Mac seems more Xs and Os so I hope this team comes together the way I envision they will.

What I like most about Mac his take-charge approach and his philosophy on how to develop a smart and unified football team. Reminds me of Holmgren. Mac is not some Flores or Mora coming in hoping the players will suddenly wake up because there's a new flavor out. Bodes well for some great seasons ahead.

Mac appears to hold players much more accountable, always compete was nice at first but gave way to my guys first, we will see with Mac, but so far he expects you to do what is asked and if you don't or are unable to you will be replaced. Linebackers last year and CB's are an testament to that and also the focus on O line.

Mac reminds of Danny Lanning. All business at times. The Board Room of Football. Empowered. Young. Serious..Professional. I will say this was decent draft as we have had cause John had help from the entire staff.
