It wouldn’t shock me if Martinez ends up in Miami. Their RB room is a mess

In the basement of Reynholm Industries
Jalen Milroe.

I know I’ll catch some serious heat and laugh reacts, but I’m serious. And I understand I’ve put a similar message on another thread, so I’m not trying to spam the forum with my disrespect of Jalen Milroe, but I’ll say the following:

Yes, he’s a project, etc. However, I don’t think he has nearly the limitless ceiling that a lot of folks thinks he has. He appears rather limited and has several issues to his game that may be too much to overcome. And to top it all off, if they were hoping he’d be a gadget guy and the guy getting his tush pushed on short yardage, I don’t even trust him to hold onto the ball now.

I’d rather they hang onto someone who’s currently on the bubble and has a better chance to contribute, like Singleton, Wright, and White.

If the team wants a dual threat QB, they can look in next years draft. If they want a QBOTF, look in next years draft. Milroe is not that guy, imo.

There's no need to cut Milroe. He is what we thought he'd be, a developmental QB. I have this feeling that, outside of their running the read-option with him (something he had not executed well at all until the second half of the GB game), they wanted him to focus on his weaknesses, dropping quick, seeing the field, going through his progressions, and getting the ball out in a timely fashion. I saw some good there. I was actually looking at his helmet on replays to see how quick he was going through his reads, to see if he wasn't locking in on one receiver.

Of course the fumbles were horrendous, but maybe they were so bad they might stick in his mind longer now. LOL It's also kind of interesting that he's hardly thrown any deep balls that I can remember, which was one his strong suits as a college QB.

I'm not married to Milroe, even though I was happy they finally took a shot on a QB in the draft. Hell, if our season doesn't turn out as we hoped it would, I'd be fine being aggressive in next spring's draft to get a guy they like in a draft that potentially has 4-5 interesting QB prospects in it.

Exactly this. Great to be engaged as a fan now and see how it all shakes out. Nothing is written in stone yet.

Holani did beat him out no question about it. He was supposed to ball out for BYU and he got caught humping his girlfriend or some shit like that, transferred to Boise State , balled out and the rest is history. Glad he beat out Martinez he obviously wanted it more

Nowhere except the bench...for now.
Perfect situation.

Anyone want to put some real money, deposited into an escrow, on Milroe starting for us by ‘27….I’m your huckleberry.

I’ll gladly take your $$

Valdes Scantling, you knew something was up when he saw so much time with the scrubs in pre season game three

Holani was getting a lot of early game snaps in pres season games one and two. That tells me they were liking what they saw in camp a lot. Holani took full advantage of his reps
