Just hope nobody gets hurt.

I can’t imagine coach Macdonald will be too thrilled with this happening, regardless of who started it. Composure matters more than punching helmets.

I’m sure Mac was anticipating something like a fight can ensue. This is a joint practice and teams fight all the time. Mac must deep down inside be somewhat happy his team has some FIRE to them!

Perhaps. He seems like a scrappy little fart himself.

However, I’ve heard him say in the past that he wants them focusing on football over fighting. We’ll see if anything comes from this. Probably just a locker room rant and that’s all.

I don't know if this is true, but I heard that the Packers were doing well during 1v1. Then, during team drills, the Seahawks started kicking their ass and talking smack. The Cheeseheads didn't like that. Again, UNCONFIRMED.
I choose to believe your take.

This seems likely and I believe you 100%.

I think it's good to get some of this aggression at an opponent out of their system before the regular season. Even if you don't buy that, it is a teaching/coaching opportunity.

I have no data that confirms it helps at all, but I do believe that good coaches decrease the likelihood of stupid $h1t being repeated.

Fight in a joint practice. I see Jones in there throwing some hands. Saturday is going to be interesting!

Starters won't play on saturday. The practice/mock game today is probably more important than saturdays

When I heard about this I started thinking back to stories on how competitive camps were for the Hawks. Imagine what a joint practice during the height of the LOB would look like.

Someone on reddit :

From packers reporters, JSN has been frying them and the packers starting offense went 3 of 12 (including a TD when Julian Love slipped) in the red zone period.

It was Gregg Bell, Bob Condotta or Brady Henderson but GB was only 2 of 12 with 1 being a Julian Love slip. Refused to go anywhere near Witherspoon too.
