Seattle Seahawks to win NFC west +501

I’d be jumping on this pretty much.

Brand new offense with big changes in key positions, all the other teams in the division have some talent, San Francisco has the easiest schedule in the NFL, etc.

Not saying it’s not going to happen, but there are reasons why each team, even Arizona who actually has a lot of talent can win this division.

Yes but Purdy is injured also Stafford?

Yes, homerism aside, this is some of the best betting value you'll currently find. The odds don't reflect the current reality of this team and the rest of the NFC West. I'm not saying it's going to happen, but the value is absolutely there.

Im not worried at all by SF. Purdy needs a great game plan to beat you, and im giving McDonald's defensive scheme the advantage over Shanahan's offense that's been looked at closely for a few years. Arizona is just a poorly run franchise. LA is the only team that worries me, but Nakua won't last physically and Stafford is getting old. I think we should be the favorites, although I get it. Lots of uncertainty with our offense.

You mean Nakua won’t last physically this season?

AZ has Kyler - they are winning the division with him.

You can make a good case for the Seahawks to win the division or come in 4th. It's all riding on the offense. Is the scheme good? Does Darnold get better? Does Kupp stay healthy and prove to be the stud he is? Does Bobo become a true #2 option or does someone like Arroyo burst out on to the scene. Maybe AJ Barner has an 800 yard season? Does the oline improve with the new additions, stay healthy, and give Darnold the time he needs to run through progressions or he is forced to throw to his first option every time? Does the running game and short passing game take a huge leap forward?

I don't think those are unrealistic and assuming the defense continues to be above average (or even great), then you're talking about fighting for that #1.

Does Stafford stay healthy and productive? Does Purdy not live up to his contract? Does Kyler Murray finally put an OK Cardinals team in contention?

The schedule is favorable for the NFC West this year. It might mean two games between top and bottom.

Yes.
Does Darnold get better?
Indications are that it "clicked" for him. Recent reports say he's been playing well and making "explosive" plays in practice.
Does Kupp stay healthy and prove to be the stud he is?
Possibly but they may need to manage his workload.

Bobo may not need to be a true #2 in this TE heavy offense. The TEs will surprise this year.

?? Need more data points.

Yes.

Stafford dealing with that back injury is huge but with McVay's QB friendly system they may be able to get by.

Purdy is good when they are playing with the lead but struggles when playing from behind. On obvious passing situations he threw a lot of picks last season.

Murray might improve with Harrison Jr. but he's kind of who he is by now.

Arizona is taking the division this year. They’re going to surprise a lot of folks.

Book it
If I didn't find your avatar so attractive I would accuse your magic 8 ball of taking on water.
I'm hoping our special teams find some magic though. They gonna need it if preseason performance means anything.
