I just listened to this, really good interview. I hope Coop bounces back this season and balls out, so cool an Inland NW guy is on the team.

He's a flat-out beast. I'm kind of surprised there isn't more overall hype about Kupp being on the Hawks.
32 year old WR who hasn't had a full season in 3 years. They'll be talking a lot about him a few weeks in if he's putting up those monster numbers we know he can.

Bounces back from what he had a better season than Lockett with less games played last year lol. In fact the Rams didn’t start winning football games until he returned to action

I was going to EWU the same time he was and we both graduated the same year. Unfortunately, I don’t recall ever meeting him on campus, but he seems like a very intelligent, down to earth guy.

Really like his perspective on life and how he and his wife connected. Very excited to see what he can do this year on the field.

Kupp is a better scheme fit than Lockett in this offense.

Check out the block on the jet action from this film study:

And then he's clearing out DBs for JSN on that screen play. Even when he's not catching passes, he's involved in the play.

This is why I didn't understand people upset/confused over basically switching out Lockett for Kupp. Kupp was a major piece in the Rams run game, almost like having a good blocking TE that could run receiver routes
