Rather think few if any are actually predicting a 13 W season. Most of the truly optimistic are thinking 12 W, or less.

I tend to fall into the 13-win minimum crowd. I am a very experienced predicter also, been doing it over 50 years. It has been with varied results though. But this year I say book it with the 13-win minimum and if I am wrong, I am sure you will let me know.....

Every season for the past 3-4 years there has been this “expert” negativity around the team and each season the team does better than those “experts” predicted. Last year the team tied for the division crown but lost the tie-breaker when they were supposed to tank. They were better than predicted the season before and the season before that.
Last season the over/under was 7.5 which I wouldn't call a tank and as far as I remember there were as many "experts" on the over as the under.
The season before Vegas was at 8.5 which we only got the over by 0.5. Can't remember the experts but if they all pull one way the gamblers and hence the odds tend to follow.
Worryingly for the superstitious we are due to be under the Vegas line:

Year Vegas Wins Actual Wins Over/Under
2017 10.5 9 Under
2018 8.5 10 Over
2019 8.5 11 Over
2020 9.5 12 Over
2021 9.5 7 Under
2022 4.5/5.5 9 Over
2023 8.5 9 Over
2024 7.5 10 Over

There have been so many changes especially to the offence I don't know what to predict, I would be surprises if it is less than 6 or more than 13 but could be anywhere in between.

I don't care what Vegas says or thinks. Our Seahawks are gonna be much better than what people think. This defense, our defense will be a top 3-5 unit this year. I have them pegged numero uno by the time the season ends. I think the offense will be much better than last year and I have them pegged in the middle about 15th -17th overall. I'm not sold on Darnold at all, I'm waiting for Milroe to Jump in and take over. With a healthy Lucas and the addition of Zabel our O-line will be a good unit this year. All 11 starters are back for the defense and I'm telling you this defense is gonna be a F#$KING nightmare to deal with. Emmanwori is gonna be good, I have faith in this kid. Our offense will be more balanced this year and that alone will give us a couple more wins. This year 2025 we as Seahawks fans WILL find our identity as a football team. This year Macdonald will make his mark on this team and label it his team. The schedule isn't as tough as last year imo so my prediction is 12-5

#18? And she calls herself a Hawks fan?
Kimes is not a real Hawks fan. This broad isn't even from here. I think she's from Nebraska or something like that. She always has negative things to say about the Seahawks. She's lives in LA and I truly believe she's a Rams fan, I really do. I watched that same podcast. Yup, 18th and missing the playoffs. Not gonna happen.

Kimes is a big Seahawks and Mariners fan. Her father was from here and instilled in her his love for his local teams. She often expresses this fact. But she is also a national sports reporter and has to be objective in her analysis. You might not agree with her takes, and I'm sure she's fine with that.
