Doesn't clear any roster spots in training camp, but they would roll into reserve NFI for 4 games once the 53 is named and not count against the roster. And guys like Mills may wind up on IR.

I was thinking PUP might be more appropriate for Mills, but that's just me. 🤷‍♂️

This kind of stuff happens every year. You have to assume that they had physicals that indicated they were fairly close to being ready to practice, otherwise why sign them to the PS?

My assumption on the NFI is that it didn’t happen in the NFL then they are eligible for test list but not 100%

Here’s the official report from the team.


There are usually a handful of players come in a little banged up. The 5th rounder isn’t a surprise as it was known when we drafted him.
Six unknown names to me.

I'm sure that any injury that the NFL isn't financially liable for is a non-football injury. That would include college football injuries.
