Early Maddux had heat but he learned to really pitch and threw a 76 pitch complete
game against - The Cubs

I got spoiled and it's why I hate high pitch counts in only 4-5 innings, to me it's not
very good pitching at all.
Speaking of high pitch counts makes me think of the Angels/Red Sox game where Nolan Ryan threw 235 pitches through 13 innings which included 18 strikeouts , 10 walks and 58 batters faced.

Another tough one. Can't quiet those Yankee bats. :(

Cole Young with his first HR. Hopefully more to come.

6 runs is an improvement, but not if you can't control the other team's offense a bit.

Getaway game tomorrow. Woo on the bump. Maybe we can avoid the sweep. 🙏

Yep. Didn't watch one minute, either game. A little radio for awhile. Too busy enjoying summertime.

Sounds like a young Nolan but wow what an arm!
He got better as he aged, cut the walks and lowered his PCs
and pitched until he was 47?
His last game was against the Ms of all teams.

Don’t think these mariners can compete with the Yankees.

A no-hitter through six, against the YANKEES. Great job Woo!

Woo was amazing. I like that Wilson gave him a chance to get through the 8th. A quick inning there and you never know what could happen. Too bad it didn't work out, but it was still a spectacular performance from Woo tonight.

Woo is looking more and more like the M's ace. He's been the most consistent pitcher when it comes to solid outings the past couple of seasons.
