I coach youth football and wrestling and the worst thing in my eyes is a coach losing composure in front of kids. Sports is part of the village. I absolutely hate how much it becomes about winning and less about raising young men and womenBig bag of nothing. Not a great look, but it's just trash talking.
It wasn't my style to trash talk when coaching, but every now and then, I admit I would lose it.
Good for Geno to coach youth football, when he doesn't even have a kid on the team.
The last thing he needs to do is have somebody punch him in the jaw or something….If he would have taken a swing, he likely would have missed.
Well..........if it was in the red zone.
I wouldn’t sign my kids up for Geno’s team or camp or lecture or anythingGeno has some issues with how to behave, handle, or trash-talk in negative situations.
In this kid football match situation, if he said, "Seattle Seahawks and Las Vegas Raiders disagree with you" to the provoking coach instead of how much he makes, this would be a non-story. Nevertheless, lost in this video was that Geno allocated his time to coach kiddie football, which says more than a 15-second of trash-talking.
The broken jaw incident, Geno, the sucker punching LB, and the Jets all didn't want to talk about it. To ole toffe, Geno didn't handle the $600 situation with grace when he was making millions, the LB lost it for a few seconds, but the information leaking players were ass holes.
The most unforgivable was the DUI situation, when his "Do you know who I am?" didn't work, he proceeded to tease the arresting officer had small penis. He was drunk, but still unacceptable—poor manners.
When the situation became negative and stressful, Geno shook, ummm the red-zone struggles?
LOL, I really shouldn't post after 3 cocktails, but here you go anyway.
And maybe we should give him some slack, he coulda been drunk at the kids football game tooGeno has some issues with how to behave, handle, or trash-talk in negative situations.

LOL, even more unforgivable. As you know, I am a Geno Smith fanboy, and one of the first, if not the first, to advocate starting Geno after Wilson left. But poor behavior is poor behavior. And maybe we should give him some slack, he coulda been drunk at the kids football game too
Also, there’s a way to lose it as a coach. You absolutely stand up for your team. But there’s still a way to do that with respectBig bag of nothing. Not a great look, but it's just trash talking.
