I think he should have been gone long ago. Some absolve him of every stupid decision the team made when PC was here. I don't. He's the last person left I want off the team.

JS should be fired if they can hire someone they think will do a much better job.

To me, JS and MM are joined at the hip. MM got the team to within a tiebreaker of the division title using a team built by JS primarily without MM's input (he had a couple of months between his hiring and the draft, so probably a bit of input there). Schneider hired Macdonald so to a degree his ability to evaluate coaching talent is being tested.

The team moved a step forward last year with the pair of them at the helm. Thumbs up. The offseason has been a solid one. Two thumbs up. If the team takes another step forward this year, then I can't conceive of a reason that Schneider would be fired. What mistake has he made since Macdonald's hiring that would lead anyone to believe he should be? You could point to the lack of attention to the OL last year, something that has been addressed this year. What else?

I like John and hope we succeed with him but if our Offensice line doesn’t improve this year I may have to call it.

I put "other" as my choice, and my comment would be that he's bought a to-be-determined amount of more time from me since he took more singular control of personnel decisions in 2023, and pretty much for these reasons:

1) The 2023/2024 drafts were pretty solid with picks like Witherspoon, JSN, Charbonnet, Morris, Murphy, Knight...
2) The 2025 draft gives me fair reason to hope that we could get 4 or 5 starters/rotation players out of it
3) He finally took a shot on a QB in the first two days of the draft
4) He made our first round pick an offensive lineman this year
5) I'm liking his choice of MM as our head coach so far
6) Julian Love and Ernest Jones were nice pick ups

I'm still a little disappointed that he wasn't more aggressive in the off-season in attempting to acquire a solid and proven veteran OLman to add to the mix of our younger ones. I was okay with cutting bait on Geno and DK, though I'm aware that we could be short in the receiving department, and Darnold might well disappoint.

Anyway...my two cents...

The input of the staff during the draft is not all on John. He spun gold flipping the roster financially. Ima fan that has changed his mind. Like all changes I was pulling; .for happened. We need some more results and and a verticle pathway to that dynasty we were on the cusp of a decade and more ago. I want to win

Mac got the team there with Pete's players. With his own players we'll see.

I voted other :

This season is going to be the first true season where JS got MM *his* guys and got Kubiak (and got *his* guy Sam Darnold).

This season should be an opportunity for JS's position to be further solidified.

If things go to hell, then his seat BEGINS to get a little warm (but just a little).

I, for one, think things will go good-to-great this season.

I don’t know much about the few free agents that were available this year, but I did see them on madden and they weren’t impressive, anyway, if it turns out JS just didn’t overpay a menh lineman cause we’ve already got a bunch of rookies that might be more than menh then that would be good for JS and his record

Imagine last season with a savy O.C. I bet three more wins at least. There were games we shoulda won last year. Even against Minnesota last year and I bet GB
