Before I say what I'm about to say, I want to make one thing crystal clear. I would never, ever, actually physically assault anyone over baseball (or damn near anything really), and I would never condone such a thing.

That said, I sure feel like I'd like to beat the ever loving shit out of Jerry the dipshit moron Dipoto. That asshole has absolutely ruined baseball for me. It's beyond maddening watching this fool continue to destroy any chance the M's have or had of ever being actual contenders, and watching him do it year after year.

Please GTFO Jerry. Go ruin someone else's team, you god damn idiot.

Thanks, but at this point I genuinely wish I could figure out how to stop being a fan, stop caring about this team, and stop being emotionally invested.

I don't wanna anymore, but I'm like a damn crackhead junkie.

I think a lot of us feel that way. I'm a self proclaimed sports junkie and the M's are supposed to be my baseball fix. They are not satisfying my addiction (obsession).

People desperately wanting to believe that the owner isn't the problem.

Super weird take. Everyone knows that Stanton is a huge problem also. But Stanton isn't the one that spent $46 million on Polanco, Garver, Haniger, and Urias in the same off season that he got rid of Teo, Geno, and Ray, and then followed up that off season by doing nothing but adding Solano, Tellez, and Mastrobuoni the next off season.

Maybe Stanton didn't allow Jerry to spend a bunch again because he did such a poor job, and the results were so bad, when he was allowed to spend a bunch?

Stanton is the problem.

We're in owner hell, guys.

Look, again, we're all aware that Stanton is the biggest problem, but even when Dipoto was allowed to spend significantly, he botched it spectacularly.

Do you think Polanco, Garver, Haniger, and Urias was a good use of the $46 million that Dipoto was allowed to spend? FYI, Teo, Geno, and Kelenic cost about $11 million less, and Dipoto could've just kept those guys.

(and before you jump on the Kelenic mention, yeah, I know he hasn't been very good, but he was better than any of the guys Dipoto picked up to replace him.)

Here's a Dipoto trade special - Jan 5, 2024 - Robbie Ray for a washed up Mitch Haniger and Anthony DeScalfani. With all the injuries, Ray could have helped the starting pitching at the very least. Niether Haniger or DeScalfani are on the M's while Ray is having a solid year so far with the Giants.

Wasn't that the off-season where they told us the revenue was lower than expected or whatever excuse they came up with to be cheap? They dumped DeScalfani along with Topa in the Polanco deal. Another amazing lateral at BEST deal by DiBozo the 🤡.

I understand the trade of Robbie Ray. Was coming off an injury and a SP was overkill on this team at the time (Obviously a year later we could really use him.) I'm not defending jerry in any way but I understand trading him and he wanted a veteran to help this young roster. Haniger is loved in Seattle but it was way past his prime. I always felt he should've added youth to align with the young talent coming up currently and soon. I can see why he made that trade but it definitely wasn't the right trade. We keep missing the playoffs by a game or two. Haniger is not the guy to put you over the top.

Valid points. The problem isn't with trading Ray, it's what they received in return. Although, Robbie was injured at the time, they still could have gotten a better return than they did. That is Dipoto's biggest problem in a nutshell. Never getting great value in return for his trades.

We can over analyze why the Mariners suck, but it’s the simple reason, because management is bad and cheap. Why do you think the Commanders happened to get better once Dan Snyder was gone?

They don’t care about winning. Blake Snell did everything he could to come to the M’s and we shut the door on him.

Yup team needs to be sold. Too bad Ms fans are too weak and slow to get the point across. Stanton, Justin, and Jerry would have been kicked out the door after 2023 anywhere else.
