Cal Raleigh now the AL HR leader, ahead of Judge by 1. Second in MLB, 1 behind Ohtani.

Even if the Mariners were in last place this season, I would watch the games to see Cal.

Most stress free game to date. :)
And there it was -- the one stress-free game we're allowed per year.

Incidentally, from the bits and pieces of the game I saw, the Nats were playing last night like their flight had just taken the wrong way around the globe to get to Seattle.

Well, there's been a few, but this one felt nice. There was one earlier in the year that they were up 2 touchdowns.

Why are they suddenly no longer striking out 15 times per game? No Ks for Julio last night.

The whole team strikeouts are down across the board. It's the new coaches and staff and a de-emphasis on analytics and more emphasis on good old fashioned see ball hit ball old school baseball. They're getting more contact and longer at bats and focusing on hitting the ball to the big part of the outfield. Looks like most of the players have bought in.

Just so you guys know: If we score more runs than the Nationals tonight, we're gonna' win the game.

You're welcome..........

His strikeout numbers are WAY down this year.
Swinging at 95% of first pitches and putting some of them in play will knock your K rate down. Not complaining but would love to see him a bit more selective.

I think the whole team has swung at first pitches more this year than last. Last time I looked, we led the league in first pitch home runs. That works for me.

Logan Evans's reward for going farther in a game than any other M's starting pitcher this season so far....get sent down to Triple A.

Really they need to rid themselves of Solano and Garver. A better bat and more power is sitting available as a FA - JD Martinez. I'd sign him to DH and move Polanco back to 3B/2B. Bring up Harry Ford as he couldn't be worse than what Solano is providing currently.
