I just want more 3rd yard conversions and actually not fail on the goal line with scoring to top it off. Scrambling more wouldn't hurt. I know I know..probably asking way to much.
I'd like to see both you and Sutz be right! Judging by the first several games the Saints played last year Kubiak just may have a bottle of flaming fire water. We'll see soon enough.

I absolutely loved him talking about running the same play out of different sets to create mismatches by not allowing the other team to substitute. Rad.
That was something the 49ers were doing in the 80s. Having a RB that is a good enough pass receiver he can line up as a WR and the defense is not set up for it. Ricky Watters was one of my favorite RBs for his ability to do this, I was excited when the Seahawks acquired Watters latter on in his career but never used him to the best of his abilities

All I'm saying is that you can win a game without winning TOP, but can be a lot harder. ;)
Those games are usually when the defense scores points and you get a lot of quick strikes and the opposing team shuffles between their side of the field to our 40 or so in long possession times to turn it over.

I think in the past that’s how we’ve won - either minus in TOP or razor thin positive - I Imagine it is way easier if you’ve got the ball more than the other team but I’m no statistician.
