I think those were pretty good deals. Darnold and Kupp are basically 2 year deals and Lawrence a 1 year deal.

Also we have 36M in cap space remaining and 105M in cap space for 2026.

All Sam has to do is play DECENT (and not be a dumpster fire) and he'll be back as the starter for at least another season after this one.

Of course, I think he'll be better than decent but we'll see.

We aren't the Jets or the Panthers... he went to the Vikings and did well.... based on the history of those two teams (Carolina after Newton of course) gives me all the info I need to know

Very good deals. It’s like Schneider is good at his job or something.

Darnold and Kupp have 1 year guarantees. The Seahawks have options for 2026 and 2027. Contract details are important, cap numbers...not so much. The Seahawks could have signed them to lower 2025 salaries with higher signing bonuses. That would have lowered the 2025 cap numbers. However, paying players everything up front isn't motivational and it hurts the team more if players receive suspensions.
