Did Geno's agent send this clip to one of the Schneiders in our front office?

that's the biggest indictment of Geno right there. If Geno is so great, why is DK requesting a trade?
To get paid way above market value? JS has a number and DK has a completely different number? It's going to be his last big pay day. This doesn't sound like anything to do with Geno

Fair point. We're not going to give him top 10 receiver money. He's not a top ten receiver.

Minshew? LOL, silly season is certainly upon us.

All in all Baker Mayfield is sure looking like acquiring him would have been a good deal at present, instead we have GeeNo.

If I was a high quality WR and saw another year of no playoff success football ahead due to a mediocre QB and management that didn’t care about a mediocre QB I’d request a trade too.

If I was a high quality WR and the team I was on wasn't willing to give me what I thought I was worth, I'd request a trade too.

Which one of those scenarios seems more realistic to you?

Do you think DK would be requesting a trade if the Seahawks were willing to give him the contract he wants?

I think Geno was safe for the time being, but if DK does leave...I think 🤔 replacing Geno sooner than later is most likely.
I'm starting to agree. If DK leaves that kind of changes everything for me.

Money and not wanting to go into a season with 1 year left on his contract and no future security should he be injured?

That seems like a significantly more likely reason for the request if you ask me, and he's kind of right. His agent needs to lock down guaranteed money in future years.

The same contract situation for both DK and Geno, with one year left and no guarantee beyond that.

As if this hasn't already been a strange day. I find myself agreeing with Mael a lot today. Twilight zone indeed.

I like it though :)

Dk only has a few prime years left. I don't blame him for wanting to play for a contender. I would too if I were in his shoes. Until the Hawks make a serious commitment to a talented qbotf, DK won't be the last to request a trade. Yet one more reason qb is the most important position on the team. Without a true franchise qb, you got nothin.'
