Yep, and I can't imagine Johnson won't be calling the plays anyway. Why go out there to be the OC when you're not really the OC?
It's been rumored that Lions passing game coordinator Tanner Engstrand would take over as OC in Detroit.Kubiak I think is the frontrunner in all this, with Udenski 2nd and Frailey at this point being 3rd considering he will either stay with the Lions and get promoted to OC or follow Johnson to Chicago.
I kinda think Fraley is the choice. He, like Kubiak, has that teacher mentality, but what separates him from Kubiak, is he brings a physical mentality that Macdonald has said he wants from his team. Macdonald doesn't seem like a finesse guy, I think he's more of a guy who wants his offense to be simple, but darn near unstoppable because of how physical they are. Doesn't matter if the defense knows what's coming, the question is, can they stop it? I think that's why I would say Udinski is #3 because he seems like more of a finesse type.Kubiak I think is the frontrunner in all this, with Udenski 2nd and Frailey at this point being 3rd considering he will either stay with the Lions and get promoted to OC or follow Johnson to Chicago.
We are all guessing about the OC candidates. If a team likes a guy enough for a 2nd interview they like him schematically and now to see if he will be a good fit on a personal level hopefully JS is on vacation and will be up to MM to make the decision
I am surprised that neither Kubrick or Udinski have been in for a 2nd interview since they have been scheduled for the past week per the NFL app
i will guess Farley is the front runner going into the 2nd interview

Context clues and just how things have been silent regarding Frailey. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for Frailey as he's my personal choice, but Kubiak was one of the names brought up quick and instantly had a second interview. Kubiak also checks the box for a lot of people (on here especially) that he has playcall experience. And you know this, how?
Maybe. Jets ruined their previous DC to HC that was supposedly a solid fit.Glenn to the Jets seems like a hell of a good fit.
