Uniform changes?

Well, new coach, it's been 15 years (give or take) with the current style. Is it time for a uniform update, and are there any ideas we'd like to see.

I ask because my current jersey is none the worse for wear and time to replace. I'm wondering if I should wait to see if there is an update to welcome the new coach and wondering if I will like them. What's an old fan to do?

Yeah, never heard that except for on fan boards, notably here.

IAE just checking the temp of the board on this. I'm a fan of the throwbacks myself, so if they went that way I'd probably love them.

Yes I definitely saw that rumor here, but IIRC, I thought I saw that elsewhere as well. I'm getting old so I'm not 100% certain on that.

I'm not big into uniforms, except when they look horrible like the action green bs. I love the retro's and count me in as one who would love to see those as primary too.

To me the throw backs actually seem to look a little better than the original old unis. I don't know if there is something different about them or it's just because the gear has changed or what, but it feels that way.

Nice thing about the new rules is we can now wear any year with Silver of Gunfire Blue look. New retro style with the aggressive Logo would be a cool look.

I don't care as long as they get rid of those all green eye soars, and lose the white on white. I like the look but what are we 1-10, wearing them or something ridiculous like that. Seems like it anyways. Don't remember seeing the all wolf grey this season either?

Equal parts nostalgia and bias, but I think the throwbacks are the best uniforms in the league.

I have a 12 Fan Home Jersey, a 9 Walker III Away Jersey, and a 21 Witherspoon Throwback. I've thought about an action green one, but really sad I missed out on the Wolf Grey.

I say get whatever you want, but know a new one will come eventually.

You're in the minority. Most people love the throwbacks. It was amazing when they wore them at home, a massive portion of that stadium was in old school Blue.

We wore those throwbacks under Chuck Knox and did a bit of winning, including some playoff appearances, the first in team history. The 80's were pretty decent, the 90's is what you're talking about, pre-Holmie. The real Curt Warner wore those to great effect.
