it's weird.

How did we all know Dee Williams sucked months ago?

Good... Coach Mac needs to own his own words.... if you're trash you ain't playing for this team..... Good job coach Mac even though this move needed to happen 6 weeks ago...

This is reminiscent of Pete Carroll in the early years of his Seahawks regime. Always compete and if not, you’re gone. Too bad Pete lost that mantra about 10 years ago.

I posted on an earlier thread that every time Dee Williams was about to field a punt... I cringed half-expecting a muffed punt or a fumble if returned.

I'm glad that he's gone.

I'd rather have Lockett back there again fair-catching every punt... at least I'd know that it wasn't going to be muffed.

He's fun to watch. He's not terribly fast on tape, but he's so shifty. Kind of Justin Forsett-ish.

In December, I don't think you're going to do any better with free agents at returner (especially punt returner).

Pretty unlikely, he is not a big play guy but he has ZERO fumbles on returns. I'll take that all day.
Dude had 19TDs, 1100 yards receiving in 9 games his senior year and was runner up for the Earl Campbell award. I'd say that's a big play guy.

The circle is complete. Both players I wanted cut after last Sunday have been cut. I wish them well in life but BYE.

I was watching the all 22 on the game. During that Williams pick 6 if watch it carefully Riq jammed the receiver then fell on his ass. The Jets receiver was WIDE F'ING OPEN. Rodgers never looked left to notice that. Had Rodgers looked left and lobbies that pass for score Riq might have joined these 2. It's not the first time Riq has screwed up this season either.

Claimed by the Giants. I wonder if there was any thought of trying to get him back on the practice squad.

Darden gives me the Golden Tate impression. Seahawks always needs a Golden Tate type, should of never signed, that Percy Harvin.

Next season should be a good one for the Seahawks, well, at least I hope.

As much as I know we failed with that trade I would miss that TD return in 48 too much to want to change it.

How is he like Tate? He's 175lbs and has three catches over the past three seasons combined. He's not a threat to break one like Tate was either. Hell, Tate's first career punt return went for 63 yards, which is 20 yards more than any of the 78 in Darden's career. And then he added one in his second game that was longer than 77 of those.
