Should have waited a day since his birthday is tomorrow. That would have REALLY rubbed it in and sent a message about fumbling on special teams.

I don't typically know player birthdays off-hand, but when the news about Mac's wife going into labor came out, I looked up the upcoming birthdays to see if there was a chance it might end up sharing one with any players. Dee was next on the 6th, and then there aren't any others until Spoon on the 11th and DK on the 14th. Would have had better luck in May, where we have one player with a birthday on each of the first four days of the month.

Definitely long overdue after that shit show last Sunday, hopefully Harbaugh isn't too far behind
Harbaugh won't go anywhere yet. We were pretty good in punt and returns up until Sunday. I think we were number 1 overall or top 3. If it happens again then Harbaugh will be gone.

My only though is "More!"

Oh, and let's see even more offensive players getting waived.

Hope this shit doesn't go sideways. Our kicker AND punter banged up. Trying to figure out who can handle the returns on the fly. I don't ever want see what happened last week again.

As much as it doesn't sound great that we're picking a guy off the street in week 14 and immediately plugging him in as our returner (if we even are), his stats are actually pretty decent at least with punts. On 22 punt returns (6th in the league), he's averaging 10.6 yards, which ranks 10th. For reference, Dee was averaging 7.6ypr which was 25th.

Statistically, he has been awful on kickoffs, although he hasn't returned many since Tampa demoted him after he was dreadful as a rookie in 2021. It looks like he offers basically nothing as a receiver.
