I truly believe that his Debacle in Denver has forced RW to open his eyes and stop thinking he's 'all that'. Just another Greek tragedy where the gods punish hubris and you either learn or become Sisyphus.

Truly unbiased here. I wished him doom and despair in Denver. Primarily, for the Hawks to get good draft positioning.

I also feel like he had a huge role in the breakup of one of the NFLs all time great squads.

But, it’s time to move on.

He’s looking pretty damn decent in Pitt. I think Tomlin is an incredible coach…hell, you have to be to last that long. Couple that with a ‘fresh’ and humbling restart, Russ may end up revitalizing his career.

The biggest roadblock for Russ long term will be his contract. Regardless of what you think of him as a QB, he's easily the best value in the league at 1.2 million.

He’s having another very good year. I obviously still root for the guy.

Commanders have a good oline which is weird. It's like why can't we do that here. They brought in a decent center, but the rest the guys were just guys moving positions, backups elsewhere and the like. Guys that hadn't been known as great players before.

Coaching, the difference between Seattle and Pittsburgh, Rams, and SF to say nothing of the rest of the league. They can take our castoffs and beat us. We suck, and Hawks better turn it around quickly. Nothing wrong with not being good, if you are improving. Kudos to Russ, he was the man.

Wilson is flourishing as a game manager he has always been. Good for him! Glad he finally bought into what he always was. Obviously Tomlin could sell him on it and Pete couldn't...best moonbal in the league!

CBS switched to this game for the final 2 minutes. Trademark Russell Wilson heart-stoppong ending to pull out the win for the Steelers.

Yep. but Quinn is writing a new comeback story of his own as HC. That last call on 4th down was debatable but it was a helluva game regardless the final score. Pitt now 7-2 and Wash 7-3.

Magic Russ with a beautiful td throw to Williams. I remember really wanting him when Wilson was still QB. Wilson w that comeback puts him ahead of Elway as 9th all-time

It also doesn't hurt that the Steelers are paying him the same amount as a 4th round pick. He's back where he started.
