I think we are a pass rushing safety who struggles in pass coverage away from seriously competing for a championship. If someone comes available, I think it’s worth a couple of firsts. It’s now or never.

Sorry, but I disagree.

On defense, we have THE guru/genius, he will sort things out, eventually. Our own all-pro Earl Thomas found the Raven's scheme complicated and difficult to learn. If it was hard for Earl, imagine bunch of youngsters?

On offense, we need a new OC, no other way to put it, but the return of George Fant couldn't be trivialized, I am hoping Fant's indeed healthy, if so, our OL is ready to breakout.

no, we do not need a new OC. We need even mediocre Oline play not complete incompetence.

Considering they just traded for an upgrade at LB, I very much doubt they have a fire sale regardless of the outcome of today's game.

Not much will change with this team.

1) We haven't the cap room to make any significant moves
2) No one wants our high paid players

That means we're eating cap hits and hoping it turns around in 2025 looking forward to 2026 when we have the cap space to make moves....

Considering they just traded for an upgrade at LB, I very much doubt they have a fire sale regardless of the outcome of today's game.

That really wasn't a long term move based on the fact he's on the last year of his deal and it's only based on his play if the team can, or will be able to afford to sign him to a long term deal.. this was a buy & try type of trade, not a future building block trade...
