Last game vs. the Bills Hopkins had one catch for minus 2 yards.

I was one of those doubters who asked how much a 32-year-old Hopkins had left in the tank. But I did also suggest that Mahomes might revitalize him. Like Lazarus, Hopkins seems to have risen from the dead and Mahomes has breathed life back into him.

Odds were that he was at the start of ‘being washed’. I don’t fault anyone for thinking that.

I initially thought that too. Right around the time of the trade, I happened to see what was a rather recent posting of a video where Hopkins was talking about his drive and desire to get better (even at his age).

I was actually looking up football work out videos . My son is 12 and trains…

You’re spot on though….may not have happened with another QB. Mahomes has a tendency to make average players look better…let alone hooking up with a guy like D-Hop…age aside.
