Dre'Mont Jones hasn't been good since he joined the Hawks, wasn't good under Pete, or Mike. But he had a good game on against the Falcons, he had 1 sack, 3 hits, and a hurry. Batted a pass too.

I did note a few occasions where a play got made and I was waiting to see who was responsible and Jones name came up to my surprise. That was nice to see. The overall D line played great and it wasn't one man doing it. The stats had great distribution. I think having a proper rotation really REALLY helped come the 2nd half.

Yes, he did. 5 pressures. That was a pleasant development. It needs to be repeated, but pleasant. Perhaps playing end will be his unlocking after all.

End/edge is his natural position. He was playing inside a lot because we had 3 tackles out injured.

There is little doubt he had a good game and a sack and multiple pressures, but is he worth what he is being paid?

I will wait and watch but I was pleased with his play against the Falcons.

So far that's been a big IF.

But if he can keep it up I'd agree without reservations.

Yup. A proper rotation and adequate practice time for a consistent set of players.

As a Seahawks homer, I am cheering Dre'mont on, and sending him love. A good Jones can make this defense better, much better.
