🤨. Vikings have the best point differential in the NFL at 61. Packers are last in the north in point differential at 41, but that’s better than every other team that isn’t in the north.

Viking own the head to head, with another to come

I like the Vikings here.

If I'm the lions I pay the two firsts for Maxx Crosby. Raiders are imploding and need a QB and this will help them move up on top of whatever they get for Adams. Crosby is from Michigan.

Geno torched them with Hutchinson, I dread to see what other teams could do without him and no replacement. You've got to go for it and not let it derail your super bowl hopes. Especially when your window looks like now

Hyperbole much?
You'd think I couldn't hyperbolize more, but I'm shockingly adept at it.

Yeah, it was an overreaction, but there has been a lot of losing between all my rooting interests lately and it can get easy to kinda give up.

I'm a huge Detroit Pistons fan, and in one of my Pistons Facebook groups I posted something last night about how the Pistons are the hottest ticket in town now because the Tigers and Lions had their seasons end on back-to-back days, and then I made sure to throw in something about how Michigan's loss from last week got blasted by Iowa yesterday... wow, I've never felt so much hatred directed at me in such a compounded space lol.

Realistically, the Lions are probably not completely done, but Hutchinson was so overwhelmingly their best defensive player, and they're going to get abused on that side of the ball now. That's going to give basically no margin of error for their offense, and especially playing in the division they do, an injury to someone like Goff, Sewell, or St. Brown would be absolutley devastating.

The Lions strike me as a team that will rally around the loss instead of be consumed by it. They do seem to have something special brewing. Like the LOB years, they genuinely want to play for each other and love each other. Mix that in with a passionate coach they want to run through walls for and I think they will still be right in the mix in January.

Outside of the Hawks, I love rooting for the Lions. Always hope they win and would love to see a Lombardi in Detroit.

I was going to debate this, but then took a look at the Vikings upcoming schedule: wow, what a freakin' cakewalk their next seven weeks are. There are divisional games against the Lions and Bears, which are never easy, but then they have the entire non-Texans segment of the AFC South, along with the Rams and Cards.

I still think the Packers are the better team though. Even if the Vikings take the division, my money would be on the Packers to advance further in the playoffs.

Yeah, I looked at upcoming schedules as well, before I posted that, and it does favor the Vikes slightly.

Outside of common games you have

Vikings play Cards and Rams while Packers play Niners and a bye week - neutral

Vikings get Falcons while Packers get Saints - advantage Packers

Vikings get Colts while Packers get Texans - Advantage Vikings

Vikings get Titans while Packers get Dolphins - Neutral to advantage Vikings

Slight edge to the Vikings.

Gutted for Hutchinson, hope he makes a full recovery
Have a soft spit for the Lions since Dan Campbell turned a shambles of an organisation around with good trades & drafts
They're good to watch as well
