Interesting timing. Wyatt Teller left his game last week with what ended up being a Grade 2 sprain of his MCL. He is expected to miss multiple weeks and may end up on IR.

I don't have anything more to say about it that that. It's just interesting.

I read Detroit has encountered some serious injury issues of late that will hamper them Monday night. Sure would be nice if we could show up there at full strength and keep out streaks going. I really like having a two game lead in the division. But I keep remembering last year when we hit 5-1 with the division lead, then lost all but four of our last 11 games and I don't want that to happen again. It's a nice feeling believing we are improved all around with out team this year.

He was listed as not Practicing Thursday. I find it very interesting that they had him practice on a day they didn’t have to do an injury report then let him sit the first official practice this week. Does Macdonald like to play try e system a bit?
