Not sure how that will work as he gets banged up as the season progresses but..

So far he’s looking good, and he certainly has the FB IQ to make up for a bit of lost physical ability.

Yeah, this is the first game of the 3 where I thought he's actually looked like a good QB. The other 2 games he looked pretty mid with a couple of flashes but tonight, he's been pretty on point.

Hate to say it, though. (Also, agree, we'll see how things go as the season goes on.)


EDIT: Also, WTF is up with the Patriots' tackling tonight? Holy crap has it been bad. They didn't look this bad tackling in our game.

Thursday night games are just weird. Usually one or both teams look awful. It's definitely not enough time to recover from a Sunday game. I hope that's what's happening here otherwise it's concerning that these guys gave us all we could handle.

They can't run the ball. Had Seattle been able to stuff their running game the result would look similar. We didn't do a good job against their running game and NY is. That's the difference.

Nah, wrong if there wasn't the 1 or 2 missed/blown assignments then their run game looks as weak as their passing game was.
