Eh, Shanny has his daddy's talent for turning poop into gold at running back (Terrell Davis, Olandis Gary, and Mike Anderson were all day 2 picks, and would have been day 3 picks in the modern format). Also, the Jets had the #25 rush defense last year, and didn't do much to address it. Not denying it was a good night for him or that he won't be serviceable, I just think Mason wouldn't have neccesarily had that success with another team.

Also, all that makes it more amazing that he abandons the run late and keeps blowing leads in big games.
Reasonable.

The Niners, once again, come out looking brilliant, making a UDFA look like a pro-bowler. Their talent evaluation is off the charts, Lance fiasco notwithstanding.

Mixture of jealousy and respect.
We can call it envy. I say we as I agree.

Just once at least, when they lose a coordinator or a player, can they please be less good? Is that asking too much?

Achilles Tendonitis

On average, it can take as long as two to three months for a tendon to heal. Yeesh.
Mr Ricochet...my nickname for Tyler Lockett .... at one time, he played like a pinball in a machine. He is older, but has a season or two of good if not great games in him. The tendon/Achilles is a hard one to get over. Like with McCaffrey.

Surprised the Jets were ranked that low against the run last year! They had a great total defense

Just saw a headline, that they're considering IIR for Christian McCalfinjury...

The 49ers have that other guy, but what if the Jets just aren't that good?

I have hopes of a 49er collapse. If Purdy gets hurt it's over, not that I wish it, but it's the reality. Josh Dobbs is not winning them a Superb Owl.

Brock Purdy is the WORST story in NFL history. I hate that story! Wait till he costs you 80 mill a year guaranteed money, and you can bank on it, he will!

Shanahans offense could always run the ball. Breida, Wilson, Mostert, Tevin Coleman, and Elijah Mitchell all had success. CMCs injury was never going to be a nail in the coffin. Kittle, Deebo and Trent Williams injuries would be bigger

I just hope he’s proved his worth enough tonight that they spell CMC off a lot more. Got to try to keep the wear on the tires low
Too late . Shananighan has used that boy.Spun to the hubs, needs a new front end ,
new shocks, not much tread left .

Hell of a player but your coach will use a player up without remorse. Not unlike that one coach who had RG III and kept playing him even though he had a tore up knee.
