I've been saying his decline would start this year. He's 28. He's been dealing with calf and achilles injuries in camp.

So it begins.

I thought he was done before the 49ers,I'm not going to go that route again.
We will see what happens.

I just hope he’s proved his worth enough tonight that they spell CMC off a lot more. Got to try to keep the wear on the tires low

The Niners, once again, come out looking brilliant, making a UDFA look like a pro-bowler. Their talent evaluation is off the charts, Lance fiasco notwithstanding.

Mixture of jealousy and respect.

Achilles Tendonitis

On average, it can take as long as two to three months for a tendon to heal. Yeesh.

Eh, Shanny has his daddy's talent for turning poop into gold at running back (Terrell Davis, Olandis Gary, and Mike Anderson were all day 2 picks, and would have been day 3 picks in the modern format). Also, the Jets had the #25 rush defense last year, and didn't do much to address it. Not denying it was a good night for him or that he won't be serviceable, I just think Mason wouldn't have neccesarily had that success with another team.

Also, all that makes it more amazing that he abandons the run late and keeps blowing leads in big games.
