I lost a lot of money on this game but whatever

Disappointed that HC didn’t use timeouts early in game to wake the Offense up or talk to the team. I remember that back in the day when teams were scoring easy against Seattle with the LOB Kam or Bobby had to gather the team and made a speech.

HC went for 2 early in the game which he could had just kick the extra point.

Also when up by 12 decided not to go for 2 and kick XP which could had cost the game.

There was one play that struck me as kind of odd.
It was on the Bo Nix rushing TD.
He was well past the line of scrimmage and around the 4-5 yard line when he fake pumped a pass and Spoon left his feet to block the fake pass.
He could have stopped him short of the goal line.

Was a headscratcher for me.
I think that's why the Seahawks are moving away from the jump to block move. There are to many ways to screw it up.

My hot take? This team has a no quit mentality. They give up two safeties and fumble a punt return. That’s three possessions deep in their own territory. Have even one of those things and it’s an almost guaranteed loss. That’s a lot of adversity to overcome and win.

I agree, but why the hell is Spoon jumping to block a pass when Nix was already past the line of scrimmage?
It baffled me...especially from Witherspoon.

And a pick giving the ball to the donks in the redzone.

D is legit.

I thought that last year... and in preseason this year.

I wanted and expected Christian Haynes to start either at RG or at LG.

Tomlinson looks to be TOAST so far this year. Another,,, hope-that-he's-still got something-in-the-tank... signing by the Seahawks that looks like another failure.

I think the best thing I can say about Tomlinson is "well, at least he was signed for the veteran minimum, so this is nowhere near the kind of disaster the Joeckel signing of 2017 was." Joke + debacle = Joeckel

Yeah, "not as bad as the Joeckel signing" is a very low bar. That's still the best thing I can say about Tomlinson.

There definitely looked a hunger about this team that i've not saw in a really long time. Especially on defense were there just seemed a huge sense of pride and probably should have had more than 3 turnovers but even credit to Bradford and Tomlinson on the o line. They absolutely stunk first half but were decent at run blocking in the second and I think both blocked really well in TD plays.

I do hope Grubb and Huff are sitting watching tape this week to hide/scheme away the deficiencies until guys either guys improve with reps/confidence or injuries heal up and give teaching moments. Grubb is a former o line coach. I think they will learn from it. Huffs track record is to watch a consistent starting 5 that build chemistry with each other. I do hope either Fant is okay or they bring in a RT for a few weeks until Lucas is back because Forsythe is just a guy.

My hot take: Haynes comes in and takes over at guard at halftime next week and Forsythe gets beat by Keion White for at least 1 sack before halftime. Still think we win the game because surely we can’t give up 2 safeties and a muffed punt every week

I've got a hot take. Why line up in shotgun from our own 1 yard line? That's not something I ever want to see again.

Defense was great. O gave up 2 safeties and Donks started twice inside the 20 and they held them to FGs.

Charbs needs to get north and south and punish with his runs, he ran sideways too much yesterday.

Lockett remains our most clutch player.

Lots to learn from, but a W is a W and love to see the second half adjustments.

That was ridiculous. Put Geno under center and run a quick hitter to get some breathing room.

Because your choosing to only understand what YOU WANT TO SEE in the thread that people are calling him a JAG. plain and simple. Throw stats around all you want to prove your point. But those calling him a JAG and want him gone already are f'n stupid, he's not here to take over K9's duties. Its a RB by a committee, he also had NO HOLES to get through like K9. K9 wasn't getting much in the first half with no holes either. K9 is the elusive back, Charbs is the Hammer back.

I dont get why your ass is chapped over this and trying to make it just about YOU when its not JUST YOU.
Charb may not have generated a pile of stats but he certainly proved his worth. The numbers will adjust as games are stacked.

Once that ball is snapped a player is reading the ball, not yard lines. That QB/LOS is a tricky one to decipher for a player at full speed. Those guys aren't watching tv with LOS colored on the screen, all they see is green.

I am glad we have a couple games to start the season against non-premiere QB's to get settled in. Don't want to piss in anyone's cherios but that was against Bo Nix in his first start. But I am optimistic, they looked good.

Tackling and swarming to the ball was night and day better no matter the QB.
Great points.
