Go figure, he finally looks the way he is capable of in the final pre-season game. I know blasting the guy 24/7 is the jam on here, but talent has never been the issue with him. I think they should move on from him, but........if not, Him and Shenault on returns is pretty solid.

He seems to be well liked in the locker room? Guys were happy for him when he scored?

No doubt, it's clear they love the guy. Just my own opinion, but I just find it strange how much people enjoy blasting a guy over injuries. Let alone acting like a pro athlete is somehow a bum.

Eskridge is a utility player. We will see if he sticks given that there is more talented WRs ahead of him that can provide utility too while being better WRs all around.

I don't see a lot of "blasting". I see justified concerns on his ability to stay healthy and factoring that into his value to the team.

Nah, people love talking sh** about injured players. It's just strange to me. And I was guilty of it back when we had Branch. Or as I often called him, Glass.

Eskridge has a team full of players who clearly love the guy. If he wasn't working hard to get back on the field, they wouldn't be carrying him around after a TD.
And yes, I want them to move on for him. But I also hope the guy succeeds, even if it's not here.

Guy follows in the wrong footsteps, Penny, Procise, Eskridge. Talent doesn't matter if you don't get on the field to display it.

No but he trends that way and your paying him to produce on the field, not his fault. But would you keep a MG Midget, looks cool, chicks dig it, when it runs it's fun to drive. But it has to run, and they had a history of breaking down a lot.

It takes special kind to overcome a string of injuries, all the rehabs, and the unkind words from pundits and fans on injuries and injury related poor performances. Confidence are hard to repair.

Think the team will try to add Sheriff back to the PS. The trade with Jax for Gipson closed the door on adding Sheriff to the 53 without some further time on the PS.

People will be surprised when Sheriff doesn't get claimed.
I'll be surprised...but not confused. I acknowledge I have no idea what teams' depth at that position is across the league and who else had great PS. That goes for all of the cut players that showed up big in PS. If we can keep the names talked about at length the past week, I would be a happy camper.

Dang. Oh well, that's football. Every year, someone you're pulling for doesn't make it. Was hoping Sheriff would make it. Hopefully to the PS.

It happens every year and none of our guys ever get claimed. 75% of the league has their own Sheriff they shot and hope to get on their practice squad.

Kasen Williams. People lost their sh** like we just cut a future HOF. He did little to nothing after that.
Sheriff was working as a beer truck delivery guy. He got the call from the Hawks pretty last minute. That's the kind of guy you pull for. For it being a last minute thing, he was pretty impressive.

So who is Jamie Sheriff?
Well, until about a month ago, he was a beer delivery driver for Southern Beverages in Ridgeland, Miss.
But then the Seahawks called the first week of August looking to add some pass-rushing depth in the wake of an injury to Joshua Onujiogu, officially signing him on Aug. 6.
And Saturday following a 37-33 preseason win over the Cleveland Browns, there Sheriff was, standing at the same podium in the interview room at Lumen Field, where Pete Carroll, Russell Wilson, Bobby Wagner and so many others have stood, basking in the spotlight of a performance that might well assure him of staying in the NFL a while.
“It’s a blessing,’’ said Sherriff, who emerged as maybe the biggest surprise of the Seahawks’ preseason, leading Seattle in sacks with three after getting two Saturday.
“Because three weeks ago I didn’t know where I was going to be. I was at home delivering beers for a beer company. And when I got that call, I just made the most of my opportunity.”
Sheriff said he got the job in July, needing something to do while waiting for something to happen with his football career.
