They're done. I'm losing interest fast. About the only thing that I'll be interested in is seeing some of our younger talent play. What a waste of a starting staff that was good enough to win the division.

Servais also needs to go. We need a change. Players need to hear a new voice. And this sharp skid from our 10 1/2 game lead till now...he's got to bear some responsibility for that. Also, the abysmal lack of discipline at the plate by our hitters is a real concern. Servais needs to be held to account for that as well. It's just time to go in a different direction, IMO.

Dipoto had an awful off-season as GM. No doubt about that. Even taking into consideration the financial constraints he was working under. But I'd be willing to stick with him if he moves on from Servais which I think is necessary now.

When I think about these potential managerial/coaching/GM changes, however, it grates me to think of them being initiated by ownership, as if they had nothing to do with the team's play.

I barely even watch now. I just pin the score on my phone and go about my life. Enjoying summer is a hell of a lot more fun. They're not a good team, at all.

Alright, I'm somewhat confident that they'll be able to hold on for the win with a 10-0 lead now. Lulz

Sure was nice to see this lineup absolutely ambush that SP. Just tee'd off on that guy.

This is a pleasant surprise. Arozarana reports tomorrow. Will see if he gets added to the lineup.

My guess is Randy replaces Haniger and his .200 AVG/.600 OPS. Goodness grief.

When Julio comes back the outfield will be Robles/Raley, Julio, and Randy. That's improved. What will the infield look like? Make another trade!

Nice way to start the series. Hope it's not a one-off. Nice how Vosler got us started with his 2-0ut, 2 run single. :)

Raley has been meh on offense for awhile.

.185 in last 30 games.
Another option is to send Raley down and trade for another outfielder. Tommy Pham? Wouldnt take much his deal with the White Sox is 3.5M. Dude is a .300 hitter in the post season, has lots of experience. They have to make another move.

I sure hope that's the plan. Replacing Haniger with Arozarena is a pretty massive upgrade.

Yep. Definitely need at least 1 more solid bat. Someone that could replace Polanco would be ideal. Or Vladdy, but it's sounding less and less likely that the BJ's are going to move him.

Scotty still starting Haniger. Lol! The team trades for an outfielder and still continues to play their worst outfielder. Only the M's.

Both Locklear and Montes (in Everett) are struggling. I wonder if that changes any trade ideas. And yes they absolutely need Polanco to stay hot.

Decent game. Nice to see two consecutive games with some scoring. Especially loving the number of RBI singles. Have I mentioned how much I love RBI singles? ;)

Did Woo get hurt today? Why was he pulled after only 4 innings?
They didn't say why, it was only about 70 pitches. Couple of 20+ pitch innings, but still. It was Fox, so we didn't get the same treatment as usual. Still monitoring him, I guess.

Baseball is such a funny game. It feels like just the idea that reinforcements were coming was enough to get everyone going.

I also think that having a couple of serious bats in the lineup changes everything. It changes the way pitchers have to deal with the lineup.

Random thoughts: Victor Robles is having quite the resurgence. He's even better than the 2019 version of himself. And we're getting him for the MLB minimum salary? Jorge Polanco has 3 HRs in 2 days. Is he finally back to being himself? And will either Vossler or Locklear be worth a damn?
