Geno has a different poise and command this year in camp, from all reports.

He and JSN are tight as can be, he has the arm to feed DK, and Lockett still has some ball left in him.

We have a real OL coach and an OC who coached OL as well. Two good running backs ready to take the pressure off of the pass game.

This offense has the makings of a potential monster, and the defense is stocked with playmakers despite some holes.

I'm getting pumped.

I haven’t been this excited about a season in a few years. Regardless of how they do as the division is super tough, I just want to see us building towards something with a bright future and I think it will be obvious they are.

Grubb with this many weapons will be fun.

Everyone keeps asking what "success" will look like for us this season, I think the answer to that is, just think of what it felt like at the end of the 2012 season, they didn't quite get there, but we all had that feeling that something great was coming, and it was inevitable. If us fans can collectively share that feeling, then this season will have been a success.

I am really excited about the upcoming season. I’m also tempering my enthusiasm to have reasonable expectations . New coachs, completely new schemes and system. I expect some growing pains.
Really hoping MM develops an exciting defense that looks like it could become a dominant one down the road.
Dont know what to expect from the offense, but we definitely have some great weapons for Grubb to work with.

In a lofty place tanglin' with Satan over history.

Me and my boy are discussing all this right this moment.

I was really excited for last season thinking there was no way the defense could be worse but I was wrong & it was worse.
I'm not expecting miracles with the defense this year, I just want it to be improved to the point I'm not covering my eyes expecting the worst every time they take the field.
If we can improve to just middle of the pack, we'll be fine.

I feel very good about the progress we made roster wise this year, not to mention potential in terms of coaching. Based on our finish the past two seasons it shouldn't take a lot of improvement for us to see renewed hope for playoff ball.

I am cautiously optimistic. With that said, I do not take any reports out of training camp seriously. I’ve been burned mentally too many times before hearing how great everyone looks only to see dog shit game one of the season.

A competent NFL average defense and a red zone scoring offense that punches in TDs and does not settle for FGs. I think that is very reasonable standard to expect for the Hawks this upcoming season.

I even have been hearing the words "Super Bowl" coming from the mouths of Geno and others. Bravado? Sure, but you need it as one of the key ingredients to get there. A lot of work ahead, a lot of growth needed, but the players are buying in, Mac seems to have a cerebral and commanding grip on the team's identity (especially defense)...There's true hope for this team for the first time in years. Like 12AngryHawks said, if this season can feel like 2012 did, we are on our way. Or even if next year does.

Hard to take anything from training camp seriously. I'm hoping offense can be consistent this year. And am praying 🙏 the defense can be to. Defense couldn't stop a nose bleed for the last couple years and it's been so frustrating. But yeah I'm excited too.

I'm also hearing good things about Mike Morris. Imagine the D line going from being a huge weakness to pretty much the strength of the defense.
I've been waiting to see that guy play in McDonald's defense. I have a feeling he's going to be a important piece

I soooooo want to be right there with you. I’ve seen us blow our chances on offense too many times to get excited. I do believe we have the potential to be one of the top offenses in the league. I still will continue to have doubts though until I can see them play to their potential. There are too many playmakers to have a mediocre offense.

I don't mean to bash on Pete but the last several seasons it was always the same. A while back I decided until things started to change I was canceling my NFL Sunday Ticket and watching whenever it was shown in my local area..outside of Washington. Now , having a good feeling and hoping and hearing about the positive changes, I'm rolling the dice and buying the NFL Sunday Ticket again hoping for a exciting football once again.

This offense has the potential to be ELITE.

Oh, wait. There’s that OL.

If we can finally solidify a solid performance from the OL this is a top 5 offense if not better, obviously injuries aside. Unfortunately historically, that seems to be a tough task to ask for.

Hopefully this is the year we don’t look at our OL as the detriment.

"Excited" isn't a good term to describe my feelings about the upcoming season. "Looking forward to" might be a better way to express my feelings.

I used to get a lot more excited about more things in general, but as I've grown older, I tend to be more pragmatic, take things in stride, flatten out the peaks and fill in the valleys. The downsides of not living up to expectations has caused me to lower the bar.

Yes, the coaching staff has a lot of potential to be a difference maker. But for the most part, they haven't a lot of experience in the NFL. Our head coach has never been a head coach before. I don't think it reasonable to think that everything they touch will turn to gold. They're going to have a learning curve just like any of us would when we embark on a new job.
