Boom.I just hope this shuts up the Jalen Carter chicken littles for a while.
Carter: 4 tackles, 1.5 sacks
Witherspoon: 16 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 pick six
One less game too.

He reminds Troy Aikman of a former teammate who also wore #21!Reminds me of Bob Sanders - used to play safety for the Colts. Disruptive as hell and similar in size.
Those specialist are unpredictableA specialist gave him a knee to the head as well? Damn dude can't catch a break.
Concussion protocol. They would not clear Adams to go back on the field. He sure looked like he wanted to go back in.
Exactly. You notice how some of them are being reeeeeeaaaaaal quiet right about now, when they were spouting off about Carter recently having a good game?I just hope this shuts up the Jalen Carter chicken littles for a while.

What, that guy who now coaches Colorado? He reminds Troy Aikman of a former teammate who also wore #21!

Please remain healthy he's totally in line for DPOY I haven't seen such a performance since Troy, Ed Reed or Dieon or Richard Sherman and he does it all. He's totally a smaller Troy God I hate that he went to the Stealers but he was incredible. I can't be angry if another team wasn't stupid and saw what I did.Bad comp btw. Sanders hated contact and tackling. Maybe on the savvy, instincts and juice he brought to the defense? Yeah, I'd compare Spoon to that part of Deion's game.
But the violence and physicality? I'd say Pete' still come the closest to comp'ing Witherspoon. A Troy Polamalu in a defensive back's body.
Oh I definitely understand and can agree to some extent. There's been a couple of different posters here that said Carter might not have done well here because our defensive line isn't as great as Philly's, and of course he's going to look good there because you can't block everyone at the same time when you have above average players all over that line. It's a weird fan take for me, that every pick must be backed up by an EXTREMELY hard take of good or bad, and not both can be good, or both can be bad.
Carter's looked great so far, so maybe he'd be playing well here too? Idk, different circumstances so who knows.
But why can't both picks be good? What's the motivation behind having to pick some weird imaginary side where you can't have this opinion. Spoon's an absolute stud, and it looks like Carter is too. Great isn't it?

That's the understatement of the year -Concussion protocol. They would not clear Adams to go back on the field. He sure looked like he wanted to go back in.
Carter sucks ass! Never wanted him.Exactly. You notice how some of them are being reeeeeeaaaaaal quiet right about now, when they were spouting off about Carter recently having a good game?

Carter is second in the league in DT pressures to Aaron Donald and has been one of the best players on an undefeated team. If people are being "quiet" on this topic, it's because Witherspoon is playing great, not because of any struggles from Carter.Exactly. Carter is being double-teamed and is being credited with freeing up his teammates (in addition to his own pressures). His career is off to a great start. Witherspoon had a game for the ages last night and is going to be a tremendous difference maker for us...but that doesn't take away from the impact Carter is having on his team and their opponents.Carter is second in the league in DT pressures to Aaron Donald and has been one of the best players on an undefeated team.
