Are you saying that she wanted a particular player and was upset that Pete and John didn’t pick that player?

If so, that scenario seems very unlikely to me.

Wish we had a way of knowing for sure.
Pmedic it was just after our 37 pick Hall DE.

I’m not disputing what you saw or when you saw it.

My question was if you think she wanted a particular player and was upset that her coach and GM didn’t pick who she wanted?

It’s a possible but unlikely scenario in my opinion.

Yea i saw the clip pure speculation that she didn't like a pick. I don't think she is that knowledgeable about every player or need.

She might have been upset because they ran out of Garlic Fries for god sake. People read so much into so little.

These guys base their grades on what they perceive a team needs. Last year they blasted the Seahawks for not drafting Willis. Just because they thought we needed him. Now he is about to be cut.

Any bad grades based on drafting Charbonnet and McIntosh when we "already had Walker" just tells me those pundits are too lazy to look at a simple depth chart available all over the internet. I don't know a single fan who didn't expect at least one RB.

Grading should only be done after the results are in. See you in about five years.

Media gurus, are still with the OLD running backs shouldn't be drafted in high rounds. GMs and HCs, on the other hand, have moved on.
To be honest, with defenses going with more DBs and fewer players in the box I'm expecting teams to start running the ball more.

Seahawk's management went for a "winning attitude" with their choices. I was thinking defensive line all along, but John and Pete made choices that raise the ceiling of the team, rather than "plugging holes". It was also a draft that was balanced between offense and defense, with strong choices for each side of the ball.

I also like that we tend to draft players that are from the same college team. Our new Defensive End Mike Norris and Center Olusegun Oluwatimi are both from Michigan. Our new Guard Anthony Bradford is from LSU as is Damien Lewis. This will make the new players comfortable as they will have a "friend" to rely on. It also brings the "culture" of the team that they came from into the Seahawks "mix". I think that this drafting policy is really a smart move. I also think that the Running Back draft choices were really smart choices...A new number 24???

You know what's funny, TOO many people in the live draft feeds were saying "They already have Walker, why would they waste another 2nd rounder on Charbonet?!" and it really is clear that all of these self-described "experts" don't know anything about this team. Walker and Charbonet are NOT the same type of RB and I'm surprised a lot of people don't even take 2 seconds to figure that out.

I often remind myself that most pundits make 5 to 10 percent of what GM or HC makes. If those pundits were good enough, they would be making decisions for the teams instead of running their mouths.

I also remind myself that pundits may not be wrong in their opinions, but they were making those opinions without real consequences. GM/HC, it's their jobs and reputations on the line.

OK my 2p,

Given the current depth chart (pre-draft) I expect both Charbonnet and Mack to make the final cut. That's gonna be a fun RB group. :)

Great points!!! Too lazy to do home work, just ran their mouthes. One reason most of them could never elevated themselves to real team GM jobs.

It already happened last season. Receptions were down last season, while rushing attempts were up.

Doesn't surprise me. I would expect that trend to continue. Offenses and defenses are always adjusting to both each other and to rule changes.

I'm going with the Garlic Fries theory. I mean, Jody's really looking forward to them, and they're all GONE?? What's the freaking point of being team owner when you can't get bottomless Garlic Fries in the War Room?

I was very excited to see the Hawks pick up Charbonnet. Perfect complement to WalkerIII. Added some Thunder to go along with K9 Lightning!

Agreed, so many "pundits" and even some posters here, IMO, simply don't understand how Pete values Running Backs. Also, how easily they forget that Hawks RBs have terrible problems staying healthy and available. Going into a game with your "feature back" as Travis Homer? No thank you!
