For a guy weighing over 300 pounds, this 9 pounds is just a failure to take a good dump before pro day weigh in....lol
Precisely. I've weighed in 3-5 lbs lighter or heavier at the end of the day vs. the beginning. The average adult is about 100 lbs of water, so a guy that's nearly twice as large has a lot more.

If you don't want Carter because of character or motor concerns I totally get it but raising the red flag for a guy that could probably lose or gain 10 lbs in a week based on his hydration levels is weird.

It is just one part of a worrying trend regarding his effort and conditioning. Looks terrible at his pro day so far. Not even trying.

So to the "no" on Carter crowd, who the hell do we take if Anderson goes to Arizona? Levis? Wilson? Trade down for more picks with "potential?" None of those options sit well with me.
Anthony Richardson would be my option #2 if Anderson is gone and Jalen Carter is a no go. His physical tools scream superstar, and he can use this season to learn behind Geno

I mean I don’t buy into the Carter hype for the simple fact his stats are …. Well there’s barely anything there compared to Anderson.

Carter career stats college: 83 tackles, 18.5 TFL, 6 sacks, 0 int, 4 PD, 2 FF, 0 FR

Andersons stats in college: 205 tackles, 62 TFL, 34.5 sacks, 1 int, 4 PD, 1 FF, 0 FR

Hmm just some food for thought because this may sound stupid.. actually no it does sound stupid. What if he’s tanking his own draft stock because the team HE wants to play on or be with is further down on the draft board? I mean….has any players done anything like that before because they don’t or refuse to be drafted by a team they don’t want to go to?

It doesn't make sense these days with the rookie pay scale. The #1 pick will be getting a signing bonus of $26.5m, while the #100 pick will be getting a signing bonus of $0.9 million.

I know.. it makes no sense, but neither does what he’s… “not doing” or acting about the combine and pro day stuff. Unless some team behind the scenes went quid pro quo. (Which is even more ridiculous)
