The solution to Jamal Adams is make him a LB, seriously. Fills a speedy blitzing/coverage LB hole.

Draft Safety - Skinner, keep Diggs another year.

I think the Seattle draft will be top-heavy with defense, DL and S.

Great idea as an hybrid type but the guys body is broke..He just cannot
play the game with it anymore.
I have zero faith in seeing Adams play again.

In a video game? 100%. However 5 head to head full speed RB tackles and my current favorite defensive player has his own private room on the sidelines.

Is this supposed to help him avoid injuries or something because I think this would be the exact opposite tbh.

Adams is done, the sooner fans come to this realization the sooner we can all move on.

Dude's broken, and will be cut after next season. He will declare himself amazing and 100% healthy once again next camp, and then we can all take bets on how many games, or even plays he'll last before suffering another season ending injury.

the end.

GUy is too fragile, he'll be out for the season, a lot sooner.

He's only 27 turning 28 next season. Can't give up on him completely yet, however, it appears his body is not holding up.

I gave up on him two years ago after the 2nd torn labrum in his shoulder.

The torn quad is just icing on the give up cake. No safety who's entire game is predicated on violent hitting can recover from these injuries.

So sure, move him to LB, O-line, special teams, long snapper. It doesn't matter. He'll eventually get hurt again and be done.

Strong safety in this scheme looks a lot like a 3-4 ILB on many neutral and run plays. They are just the first to back out when we are playing softer, and I suspect you'd rather have Adams deep rather than Barton or Brooks.

Jamal's health is a big deal because our current scheme was clearly set up to enable him to make plays. The point of having somebody like Mone two gapping at four tech is that the guard he is now lined up directly across from cannot easily get down field to block out the LB/Safety. Having Adams in the box free to move gives him plenty of opportunities to blitz and be disruptive in the running game.

Personally, I'd like to see us continue with a similar plan next year but supplement SS with a day 1/2 rookie like JK Skinner. Let them play a little nickel/dime early to get their feet wet and then they can take over SS if/when Jamal gets hurt again. If Jamal manages to stay healthy then a guy like Antonio Johnson could also play slot corner for his rookie season.

If he can remain healthy, and we stay with 4\3 defense, he could be good there.

I had brought up earlier this season of moving Adams out of the safety position since he has no coverage or catching ability and moving him to a hybrid LB/Safety or special teams bu cutting him is probably the best course of action. $21 million ( pre June 1 )cap hit is the only obstacle. I would consider making him a post June 1st cut

Make him the waterboy. Maybe he'll quit in shame and save the Seahawks some cap.

He's not bad in coverage.
