In this mock the Seahawks trade the 1st round pick #12 to the Packers and the Packers select the best CB in the draft (IMO) Oregon CB Christian Gonzales. In return the Seahawks get a 1st #17 and the Packers 3rd and 4th round picks.
1st round #3 - (DE/DT) Jalen Carter 6'3" 311 lbs. Georgia: Seahawks land a special pass rushing DT (DE in our scheme). DTs like Carter only come along a few times every decade. He has the skillset to wreak havoc to our opponent's offense.
1st round #17 - (NT/DT) Mazi Smith 6'3" 337 lbs. Michigan: Mazi is freak for his size. He would be our NT and would help create pressure with Jalen Carter. Drafting Mazi would not allow opposing teams to focus on blocking just Jalen Carter. Mazi and Jalen would turn our biggest positional weakness into one of the most talented positions on the team.
2nd round #38 - (MLB/OLB) Drew Sanders 6'5" 234 lbs. Arkansas: Sanders is a poor man's Micha Parsons. He was a 5-star recruit coming out of high school #22 overall. So yes, he is a great athlete. Drew is a good pass rusher, and he looks like he has good instincts even though he is new to the MLB position. He hits hard for a LB who is only 234 lbs., it looks like he explodes into ball carriers upon contract. He would also be a hedge to Jordyn Brooks if the Seahawks choose not to resign him in the future.
2nd round #49 - (OT/OG) Cody Mauch 6'6" 302 lbs. North Dakota State: I haven't studied Mauch other than the highlight below. That being said, he is ranked fairly high for a small school player. For us he would be our LG. He looks athletic for a offensive lineman and it appears that he likes to impose his will on opponents.
3rd round #78 - (FS) Christopher Smith 5'11" 190 lbs. Georgia: I'm hoping the Seahawks move on from Quandre Diggs. So this is his replacement. Smith has great range, reminds me a bit of Earl Thomas, as far as being a frenetic player. His game speed looks like 4.3 40-yard, it will be interesting to see how fast he runs at the combine.
3rd round #80 (from Packers) - (OC) Olusegun Oluwatimi 6'3" 311 lbs. Michigan: Oluwatimi won the Outland Trophy for best offensive lineman this year. He is a bit on the older side, which may or may not hurt his draft stock. Oluwatimi has a ton of experience at OC, so it should be a fairly smooth transition for him from college to the NFL. He should be a day one starter for the Seahawks.
4th round #115 - (CB) Julius Brents 6'4 202 lbs. Kansas State: Brents is a tall CB and looks fairly athletic. He had a good game against TCU WR Quinton Johnson, who is considered one of the best WR in this year's draft. It would be amazing to have two 6'4" CBs on our defense.
4th round #117 (from Packers) - (RB) Kendre Miller 6'0" 220 lbs. TCU: Miller would be a quality backup RB to Walker. Milller runs with more power than Walker, but at the same time he has good contact balance and good agility.

5th round #147 - (SS) Kenderick Duncan 6'3" 225 lbs. Louisville: Duncan is a big SS, looks to have 34 in arm length, and he has nice upside. At this point of the draft we may be getting a steal with Duncan. Potential starter, in a year, if given a real chance to compete.
5th round #150 - (WR) Malik Knowles 6'3" 200 lbs. Kansas State: Knowles is a deep threat, though a deveolpmental WR. He is a very good kick returner, so he could compete for kick returner in his rooike year.
6th round #189 - (OLB/DE) Jeremiah Martin 6'4" 267lbs. Washington: Jeremaih had a nice season for the Huskies, with his 8.5 sacks and 11 TFLs. He could be a good depth at OLB.
