I don't pay a lot of attention to power rankings, they're generally pretty subjective.

But nice to see the boys getting some love climbing the standings. They're certainly playing a lot better in all phases of the game than they were in early September. Bad news is we're not gonna be sneaking up on folks any more. ;)

So they're saying we have the best run game, an excellent quarterback, and an excellent defense...so why aren't we in the top 5?

Prisco can like us again now that Russ is gone

Come to think of it, maybe Prisco was on to something after all

Some guy at some sports bar was telling me Russ was the reason Buck and Aikman didn't like Seattle for all those years. I know that's not the best source lol, but thought I'd pass it on.

Pre-conceived bias is hard to overcome

And a few bad losses as well

Well it makes me wonder.. is the power rankings a reflection of who is playing the best right now? Or does it mix in a little college football -esque judgement?

Just let everyone keep underestimating the Hawks. Rankings be damned!

Weren't we in the #26-30 range before that opening night? Pete must be loving all these slights, talk downs, biased rankings, as Pete is the grand master in leveraging the slights to motivate our boys. I like it even more if these experts rank us in #15-18 range, if they did, one can almost guarantee a win this sunday.

I don't dislike Troy Aikman and Joe (Dum)B(f)uck as announcers because they tended to openly root for the Seahawks' opponents when they were assigned to Seahawks games. I dislike them because they're bad at what they do. I'll take even this year's model of Al Michaels, finally showing signs of his advanced age, over Joe (Dum)B(f)uck any day. Sanchez turned out to be a lot better than I would ever have expected. He's relatively new to the announcing-on-national-TV gig, but he already appears to be WAY better at it than Aikman.
