That's Austin's jam.

"Should I give my own opinion about the thread topic, or should I get into it with some forum posters about their opinions."

#2 EVERY TIME BABY!
Damn man this is your jam. How many times did I give my opinion on this situation? 3?4? You read the replies though so you know this. Someone is still a llittle butthurt from the shack I get it.

"seem" competitive?

They are the #3 seed in the NFC

They are competitive
The point is it's super early in the season. Every year a lot changes from week 6 to wk 15-18. They may very well finish as the #3 team in the NFC and I hope they do.

Why do you keep saying this? There are fewer AFC teams (3) than NFC Teams (4) with better records than the Seahawks.

Outside of the Bills, Chiefs, Ravens, and maybe the Jets, who, in the AFC, can go toe to toe with the Seahawks right now? In the NFC I would say Eagles, Giants (maybe), Rams, Niners, and Vikings could give us a run. (Outside of a "any given Sunday" scenario, of course)
It's simply the technique of using meaningless stats to prove whatever meaningless point is on the daily blue light special of meaninglessness.

Oh look the dumpster-fire NFC Seahawks are undefeated against the exceptionally dominant AFC. Wow how is it possible? .1000 vs. .000 - The Seahawks are going to the SUPERBOWL!!!!!!!

Disclaimer for the obtuse:
The above is a hyperbolic take having fun at the expense of the hyperbolic takes.

The shack?

I haven't posted in the shack in months. You can't even keep your forum shit talking straight there's so many people kicking you in the nuts.

But yeah, jumping into a thread and arguing with 5-6 people who dared criticize Fade's phony apology thread probably wasn't the best idea today. But the attention's awesome right?

This is exactly what Austin does. He shows up, makes a fool of himself, and then projects his own crappy behavior on anyone who points it out. Par for the course here.

That's the beauty of a democratic free thinking forum Austin, they have a pretty good way of sorting out who's wrong and being a moron.

Considering you're now arguing with like 6-7 people and getting lol emojis on every one of your posts tells you it's not hard to figure out who the moron is.

They are pretty much halfway through the season. its not early, certainly not SUPER EARLY.

And they are playing their best ball of the season

It's extremely clear that nobody amongst us predicted this. At least nobody I can recall. Geno Smith? L-freaking-O-L. That hack?

I openly admit I wanted Lock, period. Younger, more potential upside, etc, etc.

I thought we were accepting our fate. Some 3, 4, maybe 6 win team and cling to hope that the Broncos picks would help us land the franchise QB of our future.

If any one of us can honestly say they thought Geno Smith just might be our future franchise QB then you deserve a raise, a gold star and an evening out with a serious hottie.

I am aghast at what I am witnessing on gameday. Who IS this exciting, perplexing, formidable team?

Scoring over 30 points seems to be on the regular. Geno looks like he's been playing like this for years. Polished. Poised in the pocket. No happy feet. Deadly accurate arm and range. Reads and checks are like butter. Who the F is this guy?!?

I am happy to report I know nothing. Apparently all I thought I knew was a fraud.

In the best of ways.
Eh, some of us predicted the team would be good and legitimately believed Geno would succeed. But unfortunately, what happened is that a large majority of posters did not take us seriously at the time; thus, the response now is to pretend we didn't exist or weren't confident in our opinions at the time.

For example, here's what I wrote on August 18th:
I'm turning into a Geno Smith truther.

I think his processing ability is his greatest attribute. My biggest concern with him is maintaining confidence when things don't go his way. That was the knock on him with the Jets; he couldn't handle adversity which ultimately affected his play. So that will be his toughest test, one area where Lock has a clear advantage.

I'm much more bullish than you, Tomo. I see this as an 11-win team if things break their way. Of course, part of this concerns our differing views on Geno, where I am clearly in the minority. But I'm also banking on Penny staying healthy in that scenario. If he's anything close to what he was last season, this is a team with four pro bowl (ish) players at the skill position. They don't have many glaring question marks outside of linebacker/corner, and they have a lot of young talented players who could flip the switch at those positions. And if things break correctly: the running game continues where it left off last season, the offensive line continues to gel, etc... Geno could easily change the narrative surrounding him because he has all the physical and mental tools to be a top 15 QB in the league.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg. I don't think we deserve credit or anything because no one can see the future, and we're all guessing. But I do think some are underestimating how much evidence was available before the season that suggested Geno would be a competent starting QB.

Again what are you talking about? I've now said 6 times I was wrong and agree with the main theme that is being presented in here? Are you trolling because I pissed you off in another forum? Really?

Fair enough, just didn't see it on here. Or in the media, or on social media. Or anywhere really.
Just because people claim something on a message board doesn't mean all people feel a certain way. Anytime an all or nothing is claimed, the truth will probably/likely diverge from that take. Outliers happen even when it seems unlikely.

That is why Fade is such an easy target for ridicule - Fade has extreme takes that are tainted and beg for some jovial commentary.

Nearly everyone in the room at this point is wondering when the smartest one in the room is going to realize that they are speaking in monologue to the wall.

As the season progresses, I hope that Fade hangs on, continuing to build the truths that bring me some smiles. I really do enjoy this, just as I am enjoying the implosion in Denver, though perhaps they will tap into Pete Carroll's brilliance to turn that team's QB play around. I don't think we need to worry about Fade in that regard.

The forum you can't even remember? Lol. Yep, you caught me.

This concludes Austin's desperate pleas for attention from other strange men on sports forums entertainment hour.

Not sure if Fade's paying you as his PR hype man, but if he is, he should fire you immediately.

Largent is so secure in his takes he has to insult anyone who disagrees again the play of an intellectual giant at work here. At least Hawkstrong gave you a like.
