Yea - they said xray was negative -

THEN:

Both PC and Geno said codewords in their post game pressers.

Stuff like: "To cover for DK's absence". "If he's sidelined for a period". Stuff like this.

Could be just word salad - but I'm 50/50 if there's a bigger problem here. Brace yourself for a potential outage.
Well - thankfully my latest tinfoil hat theory was wrong:

Which ones were these?
It was my mistake. I thought he had several balls that hit him in the hand and he didn't pull them in this season. It's probably not a fair comparison of him to Lockett. Lockett is a ball magnet and almost never drops a pass (or is very rare when he does).

Besides as Soulfish correctly pointed out, the comment was out of place here. So I did remove it from my original post.

I'm shocked the movement of his knee is usually a serious injury. So glad this is a short couple week hiatus

It's not silly when it's fundamentally different and it's completely relevant to the topic. MRI != x-ray, it is functionally distinct and looking at different things - which matters in this context.
It’s silly when someone says the MRI matters and mistakenly calls an MRI an X-ray.

We are all Seahawk fans and have concerns over DK’s injury.

Who the Phuc really cares that someone doesn’t know the difference.

It’s freaking childish to play the nana nana BooBoo game, “I know more than you”.

I’d love to see us get back to days of old when we all looked out for one another, and only went after the enemy.

YMMV

I suggest you go back and read the exchange (and since deleted responses) to reevaluate who was going after whom. I was simply trying establish that they are not equivalent and why it matters in this context. IE, I was trying to "look out" for a fellow .Net member by helping them correct an error... hell you even chimed in on the explicit difference between the two, but I don't see you pointing the finger at your own behavior.

The response I got back was deleted because it was absolutely out of line. Now I don't know about you, but THAT'S the behavior we could do without around here.

I didn’t, wasn’t pointing fingers at anyone in particular.
I simply think the argument is silly, and find it saddening when we go after one another over simple mistakes or honest ignorance. Maybe you missed the part where I didn’t quote anyone?

There was a time here @.net that when we treated each other as friends and family. The good ole days, I miss them.

This is the new world the media and education/indoctrination system has created. Everyone against everyone. Divide and conquer.

I’m serious in that when I initially said it was a silly argument yes.
I didn’t quote anyone.

So when you chimed in to point out the difference as well, you were being "silly"?

What exactly are you trying to achieve here? Just bitching about things that you contributed to?

ETA: you weren't clear on what you were talking about when you said you didn't quote anyone. Maybe be a little bit more exact with your language.

I stated that the argument was silly AND provided clarification for the record, I was not attempting to point out any differences.

It’s fair for you to suggest that I be more clear/“exact”.

I suggest that we all be less quick to argue over stupid crap, maybe we could eventually get back to what .Net once was.
The internet is very much an “I’m right, you’re wrong” place but this portion of it doesn’t have to be that way.

That's exactly what I did as well. I didn't take it further than that even when the person I responded to started arguing with me.

Agreed, especially when you picked the conversation back up by quoting me.

I suggest that we all be less quick to argue over stupid crap, maybe we could eventually get back to what .Net once was.

Again, what are you hoping to achieve here? The conversation was over. You decided to spark it back up to throw your two cents in. It was over and done with, the only one belaboring the point is you.

The internet is very much an “I’m right, you’re wrong” place but this portion of it doesn’t have to be that way.

Sure. Take that up with the person that was trying to argue. Also, look in the mirror about your motivation to continue this line of conversation after it was done.

Cheers.

Nah, wolverines has no super healing power, as they are in the weasel family. Sea cucumbers is the one with that magically power, pro en scientific fact.

Russ picked the wrong animal, or he actually got some weasel in him?
Put out some lettuce and it will come out.

(Did I really post that? I can't believe I posted that)

Man, what is it this week with needlessly useless arguments to derail threads? If people got an "issue" with someone go hash it out in the shack, then kiss and make up lol.

I think Pete is being coy with the injury and think he had panicked his high dollar #1 target for his QB was dinged. As Goodwin in his post-game press conference said Dk was in good spirits and smiling saying he's fine. I whole heartedly believe he'll play Sunday.
