Don't buy the safety being on them but the fair catch penalty was a definite boneheaded play. I'm still waiting to see a game come where we don't have some weird screw up on special teams.

After taking a closer look you're probably right as I think that one went WAY over Dallas's head so there probably wasn't much he could do-just a helluva punt really, Special Teams has just been really pissing me off lately

Yeah, it's been hella tough to watch ST this season. Due in part, I think, to the large number of young guys playing. Not supposed to call it a "rebuild" maybe, but a number of vets have moved on and young guys have moved in. ST tends to see the effects of that first.

They may be cleaning that up a bit. I certainly hope so. ST can throw a game away just as well as the O or the D can.

Yeah, on a play-to-play basis, we actually have good special teams play (Dickson is for my money still the best punter in the NFL and Myers has bounced back from last year) but damn if they don't have at least one big screw up every game right now.

Hopefully that ends this week.
