If Trey Lance plays the entire game Seattle wins but if Garoppolo takes over early we get blown out.

Trey Lance was a major mistake by SF one Seattle would never make.

That's what the handicappers feel will make them the most money. Betting odds care less than zero about any team. They set the number to get the most people to bet on either side of it. If betting is too heavy on one side of the line, they adjust the line. It's actually kind of a smaller spread than we had for the Broncos once you adjust the 6 point difference between home and away. It's the equivalent of being 6.5 underdogs at a neutral site or 3.5 underdogs at home. We were 6.5 underdogs at home vs the Donkeys.

Still tho in the Bears game the 49ers ol was a turnstile. The same young players did the same thing in preseason. And Elijah Mitchell their no 1 rb is now hurt, and Kittle is not expected back either.

Betting drives line movement, so if a ton of people put money on SF, they'll move the line in SEA's favor. Depending on which site you go to, they'll have slightly different lines depending on how much money is being placed where.

At the end of the day, the sportsbook's goal is have a 50/50 split on each side of a bet, so the house never loses and they make their money on the fees/vig. e.g. a $110 bet pays 100, so the house always gets $10.

Thanks for the heads up. I just jumped on the Hawks +10. Especially since imo, it's going to go down to 8 by game time, if not 7.
I know how the betting lines work, I clearly went to a page that had an older line. Hawks +10 is a pretty sweet number.
