Fantastic hands, even more admirable for someone with hand size of 8 3/4".

I do think this year will wake people up to how amazing a WR he is/has been.

A lot of people think that is just Russ Magic.

Few outside of Seattle remember that catching a ball in the corner of the end zone with 2 inches clearance, while keeping your feet in as a defender is draped all over you? Some of that credit has to go to the WR.

I hear what you are saying. Both lockett and MetCalf are special in many different ways and thats why i believe the Seahawks can still be a good team even if the qb is not as good as Wilson. In actuality i really believe that the Defense is what is going to have to perform if this team has any chance to make the play offs in which most have already written that off and they havent even played one snap yet.

That was an incredible play, both throw and pass. I thought that Russ was throwing it away but he placed it perfectly and Lockett displayed incredible body control.

I was shocked that it was a touchdown. Even non-Seahawks fans were blown away. I forget what the catch percentage was but it was ridiculously low and only happened because two elite talents were in tune.

No sugar-coating it man, that was a much easier pass than it was a CATCH...Lockett's freakish athleticism made Russ shine to beat hell on that play.
Pundits have already started blustering how neither Lockett nor Metcalf are going to shine without Russell Wilson, and to that I say, BULL$#!T

I was actually at that game, and even from the stands at the end zone line, though on the far sideline from that corner, I thought he was throwing it away. Pretty much everyone on our side did until the other side started freaking out. If I recall correctly, it was a 6% catch possibility.

He came in as a polished WR with his Dad and Uncle having played professionally and great at KSU too. Over the years just somehow became more polished every year. Baldwin being here was probably a huge help.

I feel like Lockett's had multiple incredible toe-tapping TDs in his career, but I'm pretty sure you guys are referring to the one in 2019 vs. the Rams. And if that's the case, your recollection is pretty good — according to this article that cites a tweet from Next Gen Stats, the pass had a completion probability of 6.3%.

Lock is the man.

We've been spoiled with some damn good receivers in our teams history.

None better than Deion Branch obviously.

Here here. (y)
I cropped it because I wasn't about to have a ram fouling the website every time I posted but the defender did make the catch all the more amazing.

It’s sad how criminally underrated No E truly is. Given the number of drops from other WRs in the preseason this year the coaching staff needs to get Lockett to talk to the others about looking the ball in.

Either that or many hours of JUGS ma hine work because the preseason record for receiving for the rest of the receiving corp, except Lockett and Metcalf, was just horrible.

Tyler is as well a consummate professional and a good man off the field much like Baldwin was., both extraordinarily underrated players.

We've had a pretty good WR legacy here in Seattle. From Largent, to Jackson, to Angy Doug, to NO-E.

Quite the string.

I can't wait to see an offense that is designed to get Lockett and DK open - a bit of misdirection, and using the middle of the field. I do think Seahawks receivers have made Russ look good - that beautiful deep ball ends up with a lot of contested catches, which Baldwin, Lockett and now DK seem quite adept at winning.

I live down in Rams country so the games I’m able to make it to are memorable. Also from that game was the 18 minutes Carson was bobbling the go ahead TD catch on our side of the end zone and the wave of recognition from the far side as Zeurlein barely missed his GW FG.

There’s been a lot of bad too. I’ve been to most of the AZ games at the cursed field the last 12 years. I’ve seen the last Hawks game played by all the LoB & Avril, the infamous 6-6 tie (was actually a very entertaining game).
