This team will be fine. Pete is a HoF coach and Wilson benefited greatly from being in his system. Denver is going to suck and Wilson will be exposed as the fraud he is, while Geno will thrive after being given his first real opportunity. Our defense has a lot of young stars and Cody Barton can easily fill the void that Wagner leaves. So glad we got rid of those huge contracts.

Please contact me about some amazing real estate (bridges) opportunities that I have. They are guaranteed to appreciate handsomely And you can all be rich and retire to your new beachfront estates in North Dakota (as I am selling that as well).

I thought Geno looked better than people are saying last night and had a ton of drops. I'm near the top of the pack in the losing Russ was disastrous camp but Geno was ok yesterday against zero scheming. Its going to be a long year though and Pete apologists are going to have a hard time defending it. If I'm wrong I'll be the first to admit it because I want to win.

This is the best mindset any 12 should have this season. While I've been watching the NFL for too many decades I care to count and realize the preseason is NOT the barometer one should ever measure the imminent season by, this was possibly the worst preseason game I have ever watched the Seahawks play.

There WILL be great highlight reel plays this season. All the 1's and best rooks playing every gameday. But let's not kid ourselves...Smith is a backup on his best day and Lock is Lock. I am grateful I was talked off the ledge of betting $5K on the over because right now, that looks like a long shot.

Zero stress is right! Just sit back, enjoy the few and far between victories we do pull out of our hat this year, the continued gelling and experience of this fine draft class and let's go get that top QB in the draft next April.
It actually was nice having no real expectations. Hope this feeling stays during regular season.

Delusional.

Look…Russ fanbois, anti-PC crowd, whatever you want to call us…have been chastised and mocked repeatedly for our viewpoints on PC, the offensive play style, why Russ actually wanted out, the bad trades and years of doing absolute harm in the drafts….and yet comments like the one I’m replying too still prevail.

Not saying this in a bad way but, a bit of humble pie will help soothe the “I told you so idiots” type posts and comments that will surely arrive NLT than week 4 (I’m being generous here).

Edit…forgot to add…Barton can’t hold Wagner’s jock strap. Let alone “easily fill that void” he leaves.

Put the PBR down.

Funny part is we are avg 6 pass attempts to the short middle per game and 6 attempts the TE per game. Oh same as when Wilson was here. Hmm maybe it was not Wilson.
Give it up already...is this going to be an every game comparison for you? Wilson this...Wilson that. Go cheer for Denver or go seek help to let the man crush go already...

In 2011, the Seahawks lost 3 of first 4 games, 6 of first 8. That includes a 24-0 game 2 v the Steelers. They ended up at 7 wins in 16 total games.

The regular season hasn't even started yet and the negativity is already off the charts.

Agree with this. This probably was the worst Seahawks showing in preseason ever. The very first Seahawks game I ever saw was the preseason game in 1976 against the Chicago Bears at Joe Albi Stadium in Spokane. They were an expansion team playing in their second game ever. They lost that game 27-16 and looked way better than the 27-11 disaster we saw last night.

The thing I will caution all about is that the previous times this franchise has dipped their toes into 1st round QBs they came away with Rick Mirer #2 pick in 1993 and Dan McGwire #16 pick in 1991.

Draft order or rather high picks are never a guarantee of success. With that said, I hope they somehow are able to grab a good one in the next draft. I’m just not ready to crown “whoever they draft in 2023” as the savior franchise QB many are expecting.

I should report you for being sarcasm deficient.
