Just announced. Looks like Penney is coaching him up.

Ouch, was really excited to see this kid play. Hopefully Penny can be the workhorse (fingers crossed).

ETA* For clarification sake, I wanted to see him play at full strength all year. I imagine football can make any injury linger longer than it should. Although, super human athletes and all that. Hmm.

Bummer. But it certainly continues the snakebitten trend of high draft Seahawks picks having trouble staying on or getting on the field in year one.

The rb curse hits the Seahawks again. They haven't been the same since CJ Prosise was drafted.

Didn't Marshawn Lynch PLAY with a sports "Hernia"?
I know that KW isn't a ML but is this Hernia his first, & how severe?
Maybe that's the break that Also Ran-Homer & Dallas need to show that they're more than just a couple of backup RB horses in the stable.

Right now, I would be very curious to see how Dallas fares in a couple of regular season games compared to previous years. Watching him in the preseason game, he appeared to play with more purpose and looks like he's spent a lot of time in the weight room.

I would think the odds of Seattle landing the number one overall draft pick next year just increased.
And? Next years high draft choice will just be injured all next year.

part of me thinks PC gives his players a red shirt year their first year and any hang nail they get he will give them the rest of the year off. Probably wrong but feels like it.

I have also had inguinal hernia surgery. The mesh they install allows you to heal fast and I agree that maybe in 3-4 weeks he could return to playing.
But, for me after about 2 years the other side "blew out" and required another surgery.
There are other types of hernias. You can even have a hernia of the belly button...so, not sure what he is experiencing.
But, now there are also concerns about what is projected to be a really strong group of running backs. Maybe we need to bring in a "bruiser type" through trade or free agent.
Bo Scarbrough anyone?
