Pretty sure Julio isn’t eligible to return until Wednesday at the earliest.

Really working Gilbert here. 4-1 in the 3rd. Pitch count over 60.

Gilbert crapping the bed tonight. Too many fastballs to dead fastball hitters and location on his breaking ball is horrible. They are idiots for ever throwing Judge a fastball. They stopped throwing it to him in the last 2 games last week and got him out or walked him.
It was working so let’s try something different. This is a dumb team sometimes.

…..and then Cal misses a throw from the outfield. SMDH!

Why is Hagg batting 9th? He's not your worst hitter. That could have been him up to bat with the bases loaded.

No worries. Anybody on the team can hit a weak ground ball with the bases loaded and 2 outs. Hell, most of them have done at one time or another.

I know statistics say we are one of the best fielding teams, but that’s hard to believe. Infield, sure. OF is average at best with Julio. Without him it’s pretty bad. Haggerty could have made a tough but nice play in CF. Winker totally gets turned around and can’t make a play on a ball I think a lot of LF catch.

Haggerty is a 2nd baseman playing CF, Winker is a horrid defensive OF’er. Kelenic should be in CF.

Sounds like Trammell is almost ready to come back up.

What's up with JP the last couple weeks? His slump hasn't been helping the Ms, so hope it ends soon.

I like TT, but he’s a real hit or miss hitter.
Need someone to catch fire in this lineup.

2 freaking hit thru 6, and Mitch has them both.

Looking forward to seeing Castillo dominate the Spankees today. It's just one game. But as usual, Servais leaves a guy in there to die. Gilbert just didn't have it. When will Servais ever actually notice this and grab a long reliever?
Gilbert has faced the Astro's twice and the Yankees twice in his last 4 outings. At some point, a manager should know when to pull a guy. Especially a young guy.
I know a lot of people love Servais, I just am of the opinion that he's a little overrated.

Servais comments aside, the long reliever in baseball these days has gone the way of the fullback in football, rather rare.
