I like a good competitive spirit by our offensive and defensive leaders. It shows heart, and thats what we need.

If the QB isnt the leader of the team or at least the offense then who is it going to be? Metcalf? Lol, good luck with that.
You CAN NOT deny that Marshawn 'Do I Have Your Attention' Lynch was the 'Smash-Mouth' "Identity" of the Seahawks Offense, Or maybe YOU can...It was NOT Russell Wilson's PASSIVE identity back then, No way, Shape or Form.
"Good Luck" trying to sell that load of Mullarkey.
It DOES NOT have to be the Quarterback that sells the smashmouth, eh.

Still wondering why a fight at camp is even news. Oh wait, it's DK

Hell, I was there today, there was 2 scuffles, one involved Taylor (again). And literally just all Miami guys bubba bolden vs Dallas & Homer.

This isn’t the post 2017 Seahawks no more, these guys are with the shits

That was 7 years ago. Who was the leader since then?

The guy who led a team that became more and more divided, more reliant on him playing his game (because that's the game he plays), lost its aggressiveness entirely, and ultimately vacated leadership responsibility altogether for leading his brand.

You know what a team leader doesn't say in a post game press conference when asked if he could have played smarter ball, after his offense failed to convert 3rd downs in the 2nd half and OT? How about NOT - "WELL, WE PUT UP ENOUGH POINTS ON OFFENSE TO WIN".

Yeah. That guy was the leader.

Training camp fights occur everywhere.

If there aren’t any fights you should be worried cause your team might have a bunch of pansies.

You need some Dawg in you to play this game!

Players will trash talk you and that’s not something new!

Players need to have some attitude and edge to them in this game of full testosterone.

This is what I see: Offense not backing down and Defense not backing down.

I love it!

And yes, they’ll get to hit another team soon! Like a real hit! Then they’ll all come together!

More and more divided because he was basically carrying the team. Once Carroll squandered the LOB, the defense steadily got worse year after year, the Oline has always been below average, the running game has been inconsistent, and game planning has been a joke for years. Thats a lot to overcome for a QB, but its all Wilsons fault right?

What has Pete ever done as a HC in the NFL without Russ? Not much. And no, I'm not saying he isn't a good motivator and/or coach.

“My legacy”

Dude went on Collin Cowherd and complained about his “legacy” and I never got over that.

Was PC 11 for 27 passing or 2 for 14 on 3rd down during that last playoff loss?

Nah it was RW.

Well it was Pete Carrolls game plan that rolled his heavily pressured QB exactly zero times in that game, so theres that. Carrolls coaching in the post season has been absolutely horrid for the past several years.

If only a QB could call an audible.

Actually agree, they probably should have rolled it out more but if the answer were that simple, this team should be world beaters by now.

Truth is the film showed multiple open receivers that game and Russell failed to execute. Period.

Shotty was fired for his game plan but at the end of the day, Russell didn’t execute in the games that mattered.

And I was rooting for him too. I wanted his Seahawks legacy to be all that he envisioned.

Team should be a lot better off now then with Geno or Lock. I'm sure they'll hit all those open receivers.

For a season, until they get their QBOF. One who wont be getting $50M/year.

Regardless of how anyone feels about his play, the cold fact is that he wants way, way, way more than they can afford to give and still have a competitive team. They may not have been able to afford DK and traded him instead. There's a bunch of promising young players that there may not be room for. Trades take awhile to sort out if they were successful for a team. A 3-14 season doesn't make make the trade a bad deal for us any more than a SB ring for the Donkeys would. That would certainly make the trade excellent for them but it doesn't mean anything for us.

Sorry, dude. That'd be meddling, remember?

Consistency.

Thats not meddling, thats called being prepared. They were playing the Rams. How do you not have some rollouts included in the game plan. Thats flat out ludicrous.
