Flex just finished his 3rd quality start of the season. He's an innings eater that keeps them within reach almost every turn.

Marco isn't that bad IMO.

I trust Flex over Marco at this point. Marco with his 88mph fastball is BP if he is not spotting it.

Would love to see him adopt the Jamie Moyer route of pitching. Slow, Slower, Slowest change up, throw in the slider/curve, and rarely use the fastball, but when you do it will look like it’s 102.

Servais and his coaching staff have not lived up to the hype so far. They constantly get out managed by more experienced managers. No reason this team should be losing to the Miami Marlins. It's just mediocre managing. Thats it. There's nothing above average anywhere. Get hot, go cold, repeat. Just dudes who throw players out there and hope for the best is what it feels like. Dipoto has some serious thinking to do, is this really the right coaching staff for this much talent? The last thing I want to see is M's blow this flux of talent coming in. Scott and Pete are similar... both are players coaches, loose clubhouse, have fun, compete, etc but when it comes to matching up and managing we just haven't really seen much.

What? Marlins have won 6 in a row. Take away Ms and its 4 in a row. It has nothing to do with Servais. It has to do with winker being MIA and Mitch on the IL.

I like Winker but a dude with 0 homers should not be in the 3 hole. If he gets going then move him back to the 3 spot. Here's the order I'd put out there right now:
Without Hanny:
1. Frazier
2. Crawford
3. France
4. J-Rod
5. Suarez
6. Toro
7. Winker
8. Murphy
9. Kelenic/Moore

With Hanny:
1. Frazier
2. Crawford
3. France
4. J-Rod
5. Hanny
6. Toro
7. Winker
8. Suarez
9. Murphy
then Kelenic and Moore can pinch hit

Good to see winker heating up. (5 hits in last 2 games. We need pop too)

I def think Julio will become #3 hitter sooner then later. Idk if this yr.

Really took a dump in Houston. At least we scored 2 in the final game, but they're still in our heads.

Brash is probably a lost cause for now. Probably should spend a month in Tacoma. Nice try, but he's not getting big league hitters out consistantly enough to be a viable starter. Or maybe send him to the pen?

We need to stop packing the nerf bats when we travel. Hopefully this is just a 'slump' and things get better, but there are more top shelf pitchers coming up. If we can't score more than 2 runs a game, we ain't gonna win a lot of them.

Why on earth are you throwing Zanino a fastball????
The guy can’t hit a curve ball to save his life.
You know this, he played for you!!!

M’s being no hit thru 4.
Also why is Toro and his .150 leading off. That makes as much sense as JK leading off last year when he was struggling.

It’s all good. I was going to but I was too pissed off to with that fastball to Z. Throw him an offspeed pitch there Seattle likely wins the game.

As I said in the other thread…Servais needs to be fired. The M’s will never reach the goal with him.

About an hour ago I was crossing the street in Seattle and I looked to my left and Mike zunino was standing right there I said hey are you Mike zunino and he said "I am!" I said oh cool. Looked like he was with other Rays and showing them around Seattle.

May is about the time the M's chances go south each season. Once in a while there are teases this team may be good but usually it's same old Mariners year after year. They are always certain to disappoint.

Zunino was ahead of his time. He started the trend to hit close to .200, hit for power and strikeout close to 40% of the time.

Every year the same thing happens. Sometime between week 2 and week 10 of the season I'll check the Mariners record, and it will be good, first in the division. Then I check it two to three weeks later and they're third, and then they never recover the rest of the season.

I think I'm cursed. I'm just not gonna check on them anymore.

This, Servais really isnt good, the mariners will always be hot to start and .. just stay cold the rest of the season and be a farm team for everyone or retirement team. Tired of it

I've said this a few times but the Mariners championship is when they lead the league after four games played. That's the only time us Mariner fans can feel like they are competitive and have a chance.

This team and organization makes me so angry.
Seriously, fire Servais. He's not getting the most from these guys. It's time for a change
