The league will now be able to choose who will appear on Hard Knocks if no team volunteers. There are a few exceptions.

• those with new coaches;

• those that reached the playoffs in one of the previous two seasons;

• those that appeared on "Hard Knocks" within the preceding 10 years.

So just keep making the postseason, and we can avoid ever having to worry about this. Awesome.

That is my feelings on it as well. If we end up being in a bad stretch they can be on it and fulfill their obligation for at least 10 years without worry. I do not see us being on the show for a long period of time, and I am happy.

Never watched it, never wanted to. Never want to see the Seahawks have anything to do with it.

Good idea, staying in the playoffs for the next 10 years. :)

Side Note For Fun: Will be fun to see Harbaugh and the Niners on Hard Knocks in 3 years.

Reality TV is an oxymoron.

So, did you consider the Real Rob Report stupid? Because Hard Knocks is about the same, if just better produced.

Well, I watched more of those than Hard Knocks, TBS. But I have limited bandwidth right now. The past few months I have had to limit my streaming video watching. IMHO, RRR was cute and funny in spots, but not that entertaining.

Seems odd that the league would agree to the playoff part. You would think all else being equal a better team on hard knocks = better ratings
