RW has had the worst pass blocking I have ever seen the last two years.

He does it almost entirely on his own.

Some think they are good run blockers but they don't do that very well either. (see Turbin) ML makes them look good.

He has had the best first two years as a qb I have witnessed sans Marino. Again doing it this year.

#idiotanalysts

Edit: that is doing it with "pedestrian" receivers too. no Rice or Harvin last year and little separation this year. When Kaapernicks receivers are hurt they make excuses for him and he has the best OL in football. When RW's receivers are hurt and 3 OL are hurt when they are already bad, no excuses for him. You know why? RW keeps playing well.

end rant

Yes, he set a MNF rushing record for a QB. Unfortunately that probably means the talking heads will talk about how he's a running QB who can't throw from the pocket, just a game manager (ONLY 201 yards passing!), blah blah.

Russell was 18 of 24 tonight and should have been more like 22 of 24 if several passes weren't dropped. That throw he made on the run to Helfet was incredible. He just does stuff most QBs cannot do.

Houdini as a QB.

Russell played as well as I've ever seen him play. Up there with Chicago/Atlanta in 2012 and NO in 2013.
As someone already mentioned he had 6 incompletions,
But 2 were Baldwin drops
1 was a Willson drop down the seem
And Harvin also dropped one
He was basically 22-24 with 120 yards rushing.
Not bad

Yeah, those drops... He would have had a 91% completion percentage and another 50+ yards. Add the three TDs (well, 2 since a couple came in the same drive) to Harvin that were called back and some talking heads might call him elite but alas, he only had a 127 passer rating while putting up 122 yards on the ground.

Fluff Luck Tuesday it is!

What I think is funny is Luck had 25 more attempts this week but only managed to get 111 more passing yards. If you add in their runs they were virtually identical with a yard difference, except Wilson didnt have 2 INTS, and 4 other throws that should of been picked,

Luck 55 throws/runs 2TD 2INT
Wilson 35 Throws/Runs 3TD/0INT

If we're going to compare the two we need to be fair. Baltimore's defense is quite a bit better than washington's. Luck has also put up similar numbers to what Wilson had today against dreck defenses

Well to be "fair" how can anyone champion and be in love with "Another 300 yard game" from Luck when he is throwing the freaking ball 50 times. Wilson throws 25 less times and was only 100 yards away from a 300 yard game and his rushing actually gave him 300+ total yards for the day

Wilson was so damn good in this game, I kept thinking... "Game manager?"

Let's roll with that... but something stronger...

-Chairman of the Game
-CEO of Game Corp
-Grand Wizard of the GAME GAME GAME

Luck is a dink and dunk game manager. :)

We have to save money somewhere.....
We cut costs on our O and D lines.
Lack of pass rush, O-line mistakes, It's gonna happen from time to time.

It just has to gel before the second season....

It truly was......on the run to his left (non-throwing side), across his body and hit him in stride 30+ yds downfield. Simply amazing.

Luck uses a Gattling gun to get his stats, Wilson a snipers rifle, less waste and more efficient it also exposes your targets to less vulnerable hits.
